Back after a too-long hiatus
I'm back after three months of not being here (and even longer of not seriously progressing in a good direction). For a while I was staying away because I was ashamed not to be taking better care of myself.
But! My 2013 has gotten off a surprisingly great start in terms of self-esteem and I want to keep the ball rolling. Rather than tell you how upset I am about where my weight, strength and self image are I'm going to say that despite the numbers I'm in a good place and I want to get into an even better place. I've found that I can't lose weight when I feel bad about myself so I want to use this community as a way to keep my spirits, motivation and self-esteem up while I get back to work on myself.
Thanks to everyone for creating such a great community. I'm glad to be back!
