I get demotivated really easily, and right now I'm between jobs so I don't know where I'll be in 3 months, so it's difficult to plan something long term, and I'm worried that will affect my drive. What I really need is a weight loss buddy, I think.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Staying consistent with working out!! And overeating/eating when I am not even hungry. A few years ago I had developed disordered eating habits (binging/purging), but have overcome that for the most part. But sometimes I eat when I don't have to, out of boredom or cravings.

Following any specific plan: Nope, just trying to eat better overall and exercise. Making a lifestyle change.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm working hard to remain disciplined and focused. I'd lose discipline in the past too quickly. But if you want to reach your weight loss goals, you MUST remain consistent with your workouts and dieting no matter what, even if you get discouraged. Keep going no matter what.

Anything else you would like to share with us: By January 1, 2014, I hope I've reached my goal!! But even if I don't exactly reach it and end up only a couple pounds away, I'll still be happy!

Anything else you would like to share with us: Backstory: I was thin growing up, I didnt start gaining weight until after high school in 03, I wasnt in sports growing up so I didnt have that to cont. with after high school if there are sports you can do after high school but while in high school P.E. kept me in shape but after high school I guess you can say I got lost/or bored, That was probably it boredom started cause for 12 years I had something to do every day and like I said I had P.E to keep me in shape and then after high school it was like Woah What am I suppose to do now? So I just didnt do anything and now 11 years afterwards Im kicking my self in the butt for not being more active so now Im trying to become more active, I just wish I did it before I gained so much weight.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I must say my impatience to see results and seeing "unhealthy foods" as a prohibited. Portion sizes.

Following any specific plan: currently visiting a nutritionist every 2 weeks. Now that I have more time for myself, I exercise at least an hour a day... 20-30mins resistance training (well dvds like Jillian Michaels) and then 30-40mins jogging. On weekends I am more flexible with my diet, and this has definitely helped me stay committed to my diet and exercise.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: well first of, I tend to get discouraged if I don't see quick results. I used to restrain myself from foods that I loved that may not be healthy, but learned to be balanced and allow myself to eat what I like every now and then in moderation.

Anything else you would like to share with us: I truly think that slow and steady wins the race. Even though my weight loss has been slow, for sure I feel very committed to it.

This has helped me realize that I do have the time for it, I just need to make time. It has helped with my confidence in continuing this journey.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss:The biggest hurdle I have to overcome is motivating myself to exercise. I need to be held accountable.

Following any specific plan:I don't really have a specific plan, but I do plan to eat healthier, stop drinking soda and become more active.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm tired of being fat. I'm tired of never finding clothes that fit me. I'm tired of getting bigger and not doing anything to stop it.

Anything else you would like to share with us: I don't have any support with family. I don't have friends. All I really have at the moment is me. I'm excited to join this community and hopefully gave some great friends. I don't really know what else to write. Biggest hurdle to overcome in weight-loss: eating when I`m bored, eating before bed, cravings, and especially when someones eating in front of me and i cant eat that specific thing i go crazy and get some, and especially, i love working ok and i just moved from FL 4 months ago with my husband to Buffalo, NY and not having a job and staying at home 24/7 doing nothing of course the only thing your gonna do is be lazy, sit in front of the TV and be a bum eating and eating and eating! :shrug: and every time i do a diet, workout and follow it i never see any results! ughhh :tantrum:

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Support and accepting that it's a marathon not a race. Extreme low cal dieting hasn't worked in the past year of trying it and then falling off the wagon/binging, so I need to try something different.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I have a very emotional and psychological relationship with food. I feel like I can control my happiness with food, and I've found it doesn't work...but that never stopped me from taking it out my sadness, with even more food. I feel like if I get through something difficult, like a bad day at work or an argument with a friend, I deserve a treat. Sometimes it can be shopping but 90% of the time, it's food. I'm still dealing with this, and I think that will be a long time coming.

Following any specific plan: "free" Ideal Protein plan (no packets or premade food except for shakes)

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I started regaining too much weight, and I launched myself into this new one with two other coworkers who are going through the same thing. I think having a partner or two will help me, but I am still looking for more support. :)

I know what I need to do to lose weight, I know how to work out and what to eat, but even when I eat the right things I eat way too much. What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have an amazing boyfriend who supports me however he can - from taking over chores so I have time to workout to reminding me that I don't *really* want that second helping of dinner. He loves me just the way I am, but he knows that I want to get back in shape for me. I've never had a solid support system before!

Anything else you would like to share with us: I was really fit in high school and college (until I got pregnant), so I struggle with wanting instant gratification. But I just keep reminding myself that I didn't get fat overnight, so I have to be patient and stick with it this time. With a little luck and a lot of hard work, I won't be dodging the camera at my sister's wedding in February!

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: The difference is when I lost 80+ lbs before it was for a career that I never really wanted. Now I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years and I have a feeling the next step could be taken any day now, I want to wear the wedding dress of my dreams and look healthy, lean and beautiful. I've also been told that with my weight and medical history I could have a very high risk pregnancy if I don't start taking my health more seriously. So I am doing it for my health.. and my self esteem.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I binge food a lot. I am fortunate enough that I don't have any allergic reaction to any type of food so I eat whatever I want to eat at the moment. I was a skinny kid when I was young but I started to gain weight after graduating college. I am also so lazy exercising and when i start to feel pain i stop.
