I think it just depends on your tolerance. My sister who has always been small tells me that heels hurt for skinny girls too, you just have to deal with it because they look good.

But a friend of mine whose weight has fluctuated over the years always swears that heels are comfortable to her. Last year at a mutual friend's wedding, she wore her bridesmaid shoes all night because they were "comfortable" when every other bridesmaid (who were all smaller) took them off within an hour after the ceremony because they hurt

I think it depends on the person. I last a long time in heels. Sometimes I will last until the club ends or the end of the night when I switch to flats walking to the taxi rank. Other times, I will last until I walk in the front door. Same goes for most my friends too. They all seem to be able to handle heels no problem. I have another friend who just can't wear them. Even if it is a small heel, she just can't manage them. Maybe it does get easier and but in my experience, it seems to always have depended on the person. The first time I wore heels, I was probably about 16 and the heel was small. Then I started buying large heels and I was fine in them, I could just always manage wearing them.

Heels are not my friend. I'll wear them to church on Sunday, or on a rare date night with my husband, but that's about it. I tolerate them at best.

I've found the more I work out the better I am in heels. Not super high ones, anything over like 3" and I'm stumbling. But it was always my calves that kill me. So the more I work them out, the better I do.

I still think they hurt and would rather wear a pair of chucks to most things. But ya know, sometimes you just wanna look fancy!

I love heels and I do find that they are less painful at my lighter weight. Of course, my feet still hurt at the end of the day (and I'm developing a bunion) but I wear anything from 3 inches to 6 inches high all the time. I find platforms and wedges to be far more comfortable and I rarely wear stilletos.

I've noticed that I'm less terrified of falling over than I used to be. They seem a bit more comfortable than they were but I still pretty much never wear heels out. Sometimes I get ready and put them on and walk around then 5 minutes before I leave I stick on a pair of boots instead.

i love heels. its just a matter of being use to them. But comfort is a must they have very nice ones that are really comfortable clubbing i prefer stilettos and for a day out platforms are the best.
