Default Dance Central for Xbox Kinect?

Does anyone use this for their workout? How effective do you think it really is. Is it fun? Is it high impact?

I have two herniated disks in my spine, and I used to love zumba, but now...rotating my hips that much is physically painful for me. I was thinking this Dance Central game might be a good compromise, because I would still be dancing but it might not be as much movement in the hips.

If you have any other suggestions for Kinect games that give you a workout but don't feel like it (and don't really involve a lot of bending at the waist/ rotation of the hips or neck...my other herniated disk is in my neck) I would really appreciate it!

It's pretty fun. I haven't incorporated it into a workout yet, I just do it because I love to dance and it helps me with my coordination. But you definitely get yourself moving and can work up a sweat.

It's absolutely amazing! But, I have to warn you, there is a LOT of turning, movements, etc! It requires you to get moves just right in the lessons, etc and everything goes by so fast which it does remind me of zumba.

Definitely give it a try and see what works for you with it.
