Default Now I know its bordom eating!!

So I have been on a greatly reduced calorie diet and I was off of work all of last week. (A much deserved vacation from my University job now that my students are all home). During my week off I had no problem staying on plan, eating well, even having a good amount of calories left over every day and never really felt hungry. Well today is my first day back at work. I am STARVING. I have already had an oatmeal, a string cheese, 100 calorie cheez-it, a lean cuisine, 100 calorie popcorn, a cup of cherries and a greek yogurt. This normally would be plenty of food for me, but I think because I am sitting at my desk again I just want to munch and munch!! I have had literally 5 bottles of water in attempts to fill my stomach and hope that it satiates my hunger pains but no such luck. Normally that oatmeal would have help me full until lunch. This is going to be a painful week!

I so feel your pain, but I eat out of boredom when I'm home! We are opposites..haha! Just keep chugging your water and try to resist the urges. A few days of resisting and you should be able to with no problem. YOU CAN DO IT!

Thanks! That is what I am trying to do. I know I will get back to a routine again and will be fine in a few days, but man, I could eat my flip flop right now!!! I keep pulling up photos of wedding dresses online when I get really hungry to remind myself of why I am doing it!

I wish knowing that boredom eating is my problem made it any easier to resist doing. I drank about 2500ml of water the other morning in three hours just trying to keep myself from eating and was ultimately utterly unsuccessful.

Best of luck getting through your first week back!
