5 Week Challenge!
Hi, I'm pretty new here but I've been inspired and want a challenge as well as other people to stay motivated with.
I'm going on holiday in 9 weeks, but have 5 weeks until I leave Uni. I was wondering if anyone is up for embarking upon a 5 week challenge to really slim down for summer. My goal is ideally a 10lb weight loss over the 5 weeks but anyone with other goals is obviously welcome. Anyone interested? |
I'm interested! (I never stick to these things :( But I am nothing if not a try-er!) I want to go to the gym 5 days a week and stick to my eating plan, hopefully losing say....2.5kg, being conservative because I have graduation and start my new job, so I know there will be temptations and stress!

I'm going to bonnaroo June 7th so this is pretty much perfect. I want to lose 15 lbs! That would put me really close to my first goal point of 232, 25% down. |

Awesome, now there's a bunch of us involved we can all work together to achieve our goals!
Shall we start with everyone posting their starting weight on Monday and see how we go. I normally weigh twice a week personally, but how often does everyone want to do it? |
I'll join also :) 10pds would be good :)....although TOM is here prob wont be gone til tuesday or wednesday so my weight probably wont be correct tomorrow.

I more have 3 weeks instead of 5 until my vacation at Atlantis in the bahamas (found out about it yesterday WHEEEEEEEE!) I want to lose some weight before my vacation, so I look better on the beach! I'm definitely in! :)

I'll join too...the more accountable I can be to myself, the better!!! I have been creeping up on the scales the past couple of weeks and I need to get my focus back and this will definitely help!!

First day went ok, didnt get to the gym but i can still get 5 days in since its only monday. Definitely going first thing tomorrow!

30/4 - 159.6lbs - I want to be 151/152 by 4th of June
I weigh in daily but I suppose official weigh ins for this challenge could be Monday? I'm really determined this month :) we can do it this ladies! That must have been a nice surprise ketamyie! |

Yeah, official weigh ins should be Monday I think, I weigh 2-3 times a week but it fluctuates through the week depending on water weight etc. so I think it's more accurate once a week. Off to the gym later. really motivated this month! |

I've got 8 weeks left of uni, but the last 3 weeks are pretty much partying as its summer, and I want to be able to go out in my new short dress without feeling like I've got thunderthighs! 5 weeks? My goal is 7 lbs :) Week1: 183.8lbs |
I was gonna go for a big cycle but the clouds are building up.. hmm.. not sure what to do now. I don't wanna get soaked!

Doing well today, but feel rather unmotivated. Was going to do some interval training later but I feel really tired and lethargic. I'll probably just suck it up and do the training though, and feel better for it afterwards!

I'd love to do the challenge with you guys! I'd like to lose at least 5 pounds in the next five weeks. I'm starting at 155 and would love to lose 10, but that is a stretch, so I'm keeping my goal to 5. Also, I just bought Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 and can't wait to start using if over the next 5 weeks!

Ive had a good few days diet wise and im already down a bit, yay! Havent exercised as much as I want to but if I make an effort on the weekend I might be alright

Me too Iconised Ghost! Diet wise I'm perfect but totally slacking on exercise. Although today has to be my day as I'm gonna go home for a few days and it'll be hard to control food/exercise then. Congrats on the loss :) I'm down too.
Well done Ketamyie! It always feels good to just do the exercise. I feel really tired today but gonna do something. Spent yesterday doing housework... aaaah. Spring cleaning! |
I'm glad everyone's doing okay. I thought I was in trouble yesterday and I was going out to dinner, but stuck to the diet and had chargrilled chicken and salad....really proud of myself!

great job ketamyie! i've had a rough first couple of days.. I've actually been binging. but today is going to be different. I've thrown all of that food away and stocked up on some tea for cravings. ready to get back into it now. i'm running a half marathon on saturday, so i really have no choice but to stay on track!

i ran my half marathon today! it felt really amazing! and afterwards i was tempted to really treat myself (code for binge eat over 2000 calories) but I decided not to negate all the hard work i'd done by running. so glad i didn't!! i managed to keep today's calories under 1500 for the first time in a WHILE! i'm having a great day today.. hopefully you all are too!

I am doing ok, was doing well with food and averagely with exercise, then when out for a few dinners and fell off a bit lol. So i am weighing myself in at 76.6. But first day at work and even went to the gym this morning- hoping it lasts! |
Was in at 136.2lbs this morning. I worked my *** off this week so I'm glad, going to take an easier week this week, it was hard work last week. How's everyone else doing?

Ghost: ahh these things happen :D good luck at the gym ketamyie: well done! That's great. I just weighed in at 158.4 and last Monday I was 159.6. Yesterday I was 157.4 but oh well I ate pasta. I have dental surgery tomorrow so I figure I'll be eating lots of soup and not too many calories for a few days. Good luck this week everyone :) |
