When you can't wear a skirt in summer because of how irritated your thighs will be later :(
@h4a5r: I go straight to the necklaces! :D Though, for being a big girl, I am quite lucky that I am usually be able to find some pretty sweaters in my size (as I wear sweaters a couple size smaller than the trousers size). |
When you can no longer cross your legs and keep them crossed without the help of your hands.

When you lay down and can feel your body (fat) spreading across the bed.
When you are getting intimate in the dark and your significant other thinks he is rubbing the "girls" when he is rubbing your stomach! Talk about a turnoff! (And yes, this happened to me!) |
1. the wearing out your jeans in embarressing places thing
2. You have stretch marks and you haven't been pregnant 3. even 'wide calf' boots are tough to get on :/ |

Lol... Well we were laying down and it was pitch black in the room, however the girls do sag quite a bit! Hoping they perk up as I lose weight! :-)

When salespeople in regular-sized clothing stores don't even say 'hi' anymore.
When you take up more than your seat when sitting on the bus. When you're so self-conscious about your weight that you don't even want to eat in public. When you look at old "fat" pictures of yourself and think you looked mighty good! |

Guess I could also add to the list: When people in stores say to you "We don't have this in YOUR size" *grumbles* |
When you're terrified you'll be asked to buy an extra plane ticket! Every time I get on a plane I panic for weeks beforehand.

I won't even go into a lot of stores because I'm so afraid that they won't have anything close to my size and the salespeople are so rude when you are too heavy for the clothes. I don't understand why. What do they care? I know I've walked by stores that sell very small sizes but have cute shoes in the front display, but I know I can't go in to get them. In the past, I have actually taken advantage of being out shopping with thinner friends/family by using them as a "cover" to have a reason to go in without getting bounced by a salesgirl.
Also, I hate it when someone asks where I got a cute top if it came from a plus size store, so I'll lie and say I don't know. Anyway - When you dread being offered free food because you both don't feel comfortable with people seeing/knowing that you ate it and hate having to deal with the onslaught of pressure when you try to say no. (Now I also just don't want to eat it.) When you dodge invitations to do super fun things with people you miss hanging out with because you're ashamed of how much weight that you've put on since the last time they saw you. When someone criticizes the weight/habits of someone that you know is the exact same weight as you are. (This recently happened to me. My coworker told me her weight and it was the same as mine. However, I feel like my stomach is bigger.) When you make plans to start living your "real life" when you finally get some of the weight off. |
When you are so scared to that someone will find out how much you REALLY weigh...
(PS: I am not sure if this is fun or sad, I guess it's fun because we are having fun lol but it is kinda of sad because I can relate to a lot of these situations). |
