Robyn is amazing for this! Makes you wonder what kinda relationships she's had though :dizzy: Little Jackie - The World Should Revolve Around Me is another personal favorite!

Riestrella 02-04-2012 04:59 AM

Evanescence are great for that. Kelly Clarkson - all her songs seem to be about some d!ck in her life at the time =p. Beyonce is great too! Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry have some good break up songs here and there.

I actually have a playlist of break up songs haha.

curlysue82 02-04-2012 06:13 AM

Gloria Gaynor - I will survive.. love it a realy F**K you song lol with a beat..
hugs it will take time but time is a great healer..

EDIT:
also "i am the Resurrection" the stone roses.. a great belter
and "Forget you" Ceelo Green
"you can go your own way " Fleetwood mac

Alicia87 02-04-2012 11:05 AM

"Stronger" - Kelly Clarkson
"A Little Bit Stronger" - Sara Evans
"King of Anything" - Sara Bareilles
"F**k you" - Cee Lo Green (or the more PC "Forget you" but I'm bad and the f word makes my angry side feel better)

The first three really made me feel better and remember how strong I am, and how good my life is with or without him.

I LOVE Red High Heels by Kelly Clarkson (at least i think it was kelly clarkson)

I just went through a breakup myself, and "Ring the alarm" by Beyonce was my jam the whole time, it really helped me get out the anger/frustration I had, especially during exercise! I second Robyn too, she has some good songs. picture your ex's face whenever you're having a tough time getting through that last mile or those last few reps.....never fails
