Hey ladies! I was 178 this morning so I decided to poke my head in here. I have a day to eat whatever I want once a week, and it's tomorrow. So I'll bop back into the 180s for 2-3 days but then I'll be firmly in the 170s. I just couldn't wait to post
I've been eyeballing the 160/170 thread since I started becoming active on the forum in November. I don't know why the 160/170 thread symbolized so much but it really did. I remember saying to myself "Boy, it sure would be nice to be a part of that thread. But SIIIIGH, it'll never happen." Well, Me, you can suck it. Cuz here I am. I showed you!
I have never made it back to the 160s with any diet/exercise effort since I left it. For some reason 3 years ago at 171 I burned out and quit and then gained weight steadily until I was 207lbs in November. But this time I know I'll get there and it's SO exciting. I can't wait.
I so badly want to be 160 or less! right now im at 178.
I like to sabotage myself though on the weekends, I live alone, and all I seem to do is wake up and eat all day on saturday and sunday.
Any advice for people living on their own?!? I know I should get out and do something, but I lack motivation in the winter for some reason

hey i live alone!!
i like to eat tiny little meals, and snack lots within my plan.
also, i do ALL my errands on the weekends to avoid boredom eating, and work out lots. (also the more you work out the more you can eat:P).
if it's the end of the night just before bed, i have a giant mug of tea, peppermint or strawberry infusions are my favourite right now!
I'm the only human living in my house. On the weekends, I tend to skip breakfast (usually doing errands) and then eat small meals and a few snacks to get me through the day. Occasionally, I "save" my calories and eat a big dinner.
I have been having issues with bingeing this week which isn't good I blame it on my TOM and weird hormones. I have had chips, chocolate milk, chocolate bars, oreos and two whole bags of dried mango on top of all that I skipped the gym last night but I am determined to get myself back on twice.
I am at 161 which is surprising but really need to focus! I would love to see 159 next week!
Weighed in at 165 this morning. I've been good about watching but it's my niece's birthday so I sense a bit of a cheat day might be happening today lol
Daki - welcome, welcome. Congrats on 178 - it wasn't too long ago I was 176.
Veela - I hear ya on the TOM and binges. I feel like I've been eating like a pregnant woman since I was born. Ice cream and beef jerky...for breakfast...ew, gross, I know...but been there done that ;-)
Alicia - small wins, right?
Ok - my update....after going through some really tought losses, starting in November, I managed to NOT undo all of my previous hard work. I came back from vacation 3 lbs heavier, but now I am back down to 161.4. Here's to getting into the 150s by next week. I really need to bust a move on my weight loss journey. I've held onto the 160s a little longer than my body prolly wanted to...like 15 years longer lol.
I'm at 170 at the moment and I haven't been lower than that for 10 years, since I was 17... My aim is to drop to 163, which looks like a pot in the end of rainbow - should be somewhere in the land of unicorns and mermaids, hehehe.
So, now I'm going to cross country ski with my parents and brothers, it's -20C outside, really friggin cold :/ but sunny and beauuuuutiful winter day. I have hated cross country all my life and last time I went was 10 years ago at the age of 17 again They even bought me the equipment back then and I will use it second time in my life today. Hehe.
Little challenges like this simply must get me through the winter and to the magic land of 163 lbs!
graatsia - x-country skiing is my favorite! after i don't have school and work anymore (so when i graduate) i can't wait to get more winter exercise. plus it's an excellent way to stay in shape.
I feel so STUCK in the 160s.
I just restarted, and it feels like last time I went through the 160s I didn't even notice them (though my SW was 166 then so I didn't have too much to lose) and this time it's just taking forever.
I know that's not the case and slowly but surely it will come off, but can't it come off a little quicker?! haha
