I'm proud
of myself...you want to know why? Because every other Tuesday I have to go to work at my second job. So I have an excuse NOT to fit in a workout, (Tho the past two time I had been coming in early because of whatever reason so there wasn't any time.) but mostly any other day when I work two jobs the same day, I have this excuse NOT to workout...Even when I tell myself I will workout when I'm done work.
Today I brewed coffee when I got home popped in my Bob Harpers Ultimate Cardio DVD. If you love DVD workout videos I really really suggest this one!) and I did a workout! When I was done I drank my coffee to "wake" me up, at my 6 inch subways sandwich and got ready for work. :carrot::carrot::carrot: Yay me! Is there a time you felt accomplished by fitting in a workout when all you really wanted to do was nap before work?! |
Well every single morning at 5 am I want to keep sleeping, but I hit the gym instead :)
Good job girl! :cheer: |

I've been fitting in small workouts here and there even when I've been to the gym. Instead of sitting around (even if I have work to do) I find myself on edge and I have to move or do something. I have a set of 12lb hand weights and I had one 15 but the second one just came in (and I was super excited, that shows how crazy I am, lol!) so I give my self some small strength training sessions. :) |
Right on!

I had to start going in the morning not because I love it, but because too many things kept getting in the way in the evening! Plus I would always be SO tired from working all day and wanting to sleep instead! I always dreaded going to the gym. Now I look at it going in the morning as just a part of my normal morning routine. Makes it a little easier for me :)

great job darling!

I had the same sort of moment yesterday! I left at 9 am and wasn't home till 11pm. Lot's of study/meetings and a girls night. Was deadtired but knew I'd eaten too much so instead of straight to bed I jumped on the stepper for 30mins. (Woulda done 60 but my mom wanted to sleep.. lol).
Yay for us! |
Sweet! Way to go! :cheer:

philana- do you have a stepper at home? do you also belong to a gym? I am considering investing in a not too expensive stationary bike. I think it would be great to have it at home to just jump on during your favorite show or something....but I also have a gym membership so I'm not sure how much sense it makes. Plus I loathe clutter.

I just added Bob's DVD to my Amazon wish list... thanks for the tip! And well done!

LindsB: I bought a ministepper a few days ago (only like 30 dollars), it's not the perfect workout but I can stay on it for an hour, sweat some, have my heartrate up and watch TV, I plan on doing it every day, and for the last 3 days I have. I am a big series-freak, so I can't watch any untill I've watched the first one on the stepper, haha. I am actually about to cancell my gym membership because I recently moved and am not liking this gym. We have weights at home, I run 3/4 times a week and I ride my bike to work (7miles) 3 times per week. It will have to do!
