Well I lost the pound that I put on last week, but it feels like more, as I put on about 3 over the weekend. At least I'm not gaining still.
I've tried so hard this week, I've worked out every day since Sunday, so got the exercise right! Just need to work out how to reduce my food intake, it's an uphill struggle...
Pockets Try marching on the spot! No gym needed and it'll get your muscles moving and stretching out. I think every exercise video I've ever owned starts with marching

Ugh let me tell you this was not my week haha! Sunday night my mom surprised me by coming for the week **cue the womp womp womp music** Don't get me wrong, I love my mom to bits but she loves to cook and bake and gets offended and frustrated when you wont eat, and expects you to try, like and eat everything!!! It was sooo yummy but sooo brutal lol
I was expecting a massive gain when I scaled it this morning, but I guess the taebo has paid off bcs im the same as last week thank god lol!
Hopefully you are all enjoying the week and have slightly less food pushy moms hahaha

Hey Guys,
I hope to have the new charts up tomorrow night. I've been having a CRAZY week. I bought a car and spent a ton of time with the dealership/insurance people. I also started a new job where I basically need to train myself and am unsure what I'm supposed to be doing. My eating has been abysmal and I probably put the 5 pounds I lost back on. Tomorrow morning it's back to my half marathon training group and hopefully back on track.
Sorry about the Delay

No need to apologize, Scarlett. We really appreciate you taking the time to run this challenge for us. Everyone has "off" weeks and it sounds like you have quite a justified reason for it.
PS: New car? What did ya get? Hope it was a happy purchase and not an "oh my god my car died and I am not ready to buy a new one yet" purchase. (I've done both in the past year...)

Like Telorida said, we are all so very grateful for everything you are doing Scarlett, there is no reason to apologize. thank you!!
Pesonally, I had an awful week (or great week, depending on how you look at it ) I had some time off work, so I went to visit the family for the week, which means I ate all the wrong stuff in all the wrong proportions... and ended up gaining two pounds!!! I would like to think that my mothers scale is just off, but realistically... I doubt that is the case.. I know I ate like crap... but nutella is just soooooooo gooooood! Oh well... I went shopping and bought tons of veggies and beans and such, so I will be back on track starting today!! (I think I've said this every week for the last month... but this time I swear I mean it!) I am not changing my ticker though >.> as I plan for those lbs to be gone by the end of this week...
Baseline: 1/5 173lbs
Week 1 : 1/12 170lbs
Week 2 : 1/19 172lbs
Week 3 : 1/26
Week 4 : 2/2
Week 5 : 2/9
Week 6 : 2/16
Week 7 : 2/23
Week 8 : 3/1
Week 9 : 3/8
Week 10 : 3/15
Week 11 : 3/22
Week 12 : 3/29
Goal: 153lbs

Thanx for the charts and EVERYTHING Scarlett. I have no idea how you do all this!
YAY for Dean's List!!
However, my weight is on the rise again. I'm retaining water gearing up to ovulate, then I'll gain more just before my period starts. Usually the only time in my cycle where I trust my weight is about cycle day 5-9. I'm off to run 6 miles today. I've never gone over 4, so I'm not sure if I'll make it, but I'm gonna try!!

The quote I used this week is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites. I came across it in a magazine in a hair salon 2 years ago. At the time, I was so frustrated with someone I could barely function. It was a perfect case of coming across something at the exact perfect moment. I come back to this quote in my head all the time when I get frustrated with people around me. It just lessens the negative emotions. It’s ridiculous to expect everyone to be supportive so why should I be so upset?
Also I bought a new 2012 ford fiesta se hatch. I’m finally getting over the initial shock of the purchase. It was probably more money than I should have spent but the car makes a lot of sense for my current situation. It comes with a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. I got a great deal because my grandfather worked for Ford. Also the dealership is literally walking distance to my house. I have at least 1.5 years of grad school left and a 1 year internship I need to complete after graduation. The commute will put a lot of miles on the car. I didn’t want to take a chance on a used car not lasting me though this “transition stretch.” I wanted a smaller car and the small used cars seem to not be that much cheaper than the new ones. It also gets 40 mpg highway which over 3 years will probably save me at least $3,500 in gas.
Anyway the car is “violet grey” which is basically a deep grey with a blueish sheen. It looks purple in the sunlight. I love it so far. It’s nice to have a fun new car that lifts me up when I get in it. Something more indicative of where my life is going.
This is the only pic I could find of the car in the right color.

Also I drove a 97 saturn SL up until October 2011 when it died. I've been without a car up until now. I got a job at a place close enough to bike to and managed to borrow cars and get by. After going so long without one it feels AMAZING to have a car again. This was a "happy purchase" I really needed a car but this is the one I wanted. I wanted a little sporty hatchback with great mpg. Plus my grandfather worked for ford for 37 years so my dad's whole side of the family is happy I got a Ford.

Ooh, nice car! I remember the first time I ever got a new car. SUCH a nice change from driving old beaters. And I love that quote too! Other people are never* a good excuse for not doing what you ought to be doing.
