I notice that on a lot of these boards, people tend to keep a daily track of their weight. I am trying not to do that because it makes me go a little *bonkers*.
LOL
So, instead, I thought it'd be cool to list how many calories we ate on that day, and how many calories we burned. From there, we are getting a general overview of (1) how many calories we ate---very important, and (2) how many calories we burned. From there, we can do the math for the week, and see if we burned an adequet amount of calories. I'll start with my Monday, and keep posting. Hopefully I get some other people who want to participate.
Ideally, if we all want to be losing 2 pounds a week, we should be burning about 7000 calories a week, and by burning I mean, getting rid of weight through calories eaten too. By the end of the week, we simply add up the amount of calories we burned plus the amount of calories we left from our average diet. For instance, if you ate 1500 calories, and average amount of calories is 2000, this means that you left out an average of 500 calories that day. Over the course of a week, this adds up to 3500 calories. The same is for working out. If you burn off 3500 calories a week (which is possible), you are a lot more likely to reach burning up to 7000 calories a week. This might sound like a crazy idea, but I think it's totally possible.
I plan on doing this for about the next 75 days. After that, I plan on getting on the scale for the first time in months. I know I will see changes in my body until then, I just hate looking at the scale. When I finally see that magnificent number in front of me, I will be able to try to maintain.
