i want to join. i havent been on these boards for a while cuz i was feeling down and kinda gave up for a few months. but i want to get back into it since i've been gaining weight :-( i'll probably do my weigh ins on sundays. I'm hoping this will motivate me. my goal is 10lbs..that a little bit over 1lbs a week.

Welcome everyone! It's never too late to join!

angeluv, I too have not been around for a few month and am trying to get re-motivated. We can do this!

How was everyone's weekend? We went to the state fair yesterday and then had a cookout to watch college football (both my Oklahoma teams won!) so I didn't do very good diet-wise yesterday. Oh well, back on track today!

my weekend was okay..i went to my friends' baby baptism. it was really beautiful and sweet but they had a get together at thier house afterwards. they had homemade pizza..how was i supposed to resist that? i had three pieces it was soo good. i'm hoping to have a good start this week and aim to be down at least 1lb by next sunday.

I would love to join this challenge. I have an end of the year goal and this will help me stay accountable. I'm gonna weigh in on Thursdays and my goal is 172 (about 12 pounds).

I am SOO in! Thanksgiving is the next time I will see my family, and it would be nice to be a little (or a lot) smaller by then. I'll make a goal of 2lbs/week.

Dont give up Andrbeck! Stay on plan because Thanksgiving will be here any minute!! Drink a ton of water and a lot of soup and get rest. Maybe just walk at the gym on the treadmill so you don't totally exhaust yourself and run yourself down worse!! Plus vitamin D!

Looking forward to weigh in day tomorrow! Just hope the scale shows a loss from last week - and actually not so certain it will show a loss so not so sure WHY I am looking forward to weigh in! I guess the prospect of being happy - will just have to deal with the fall out if the scale isn't down at least a little .... Hope everyone else is staying strong! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!

My weigh ins will be on Saturday mornings, as they always are, so I will be a little off. Just works out best for me to get an accurate read.

I lost three lbs two weeks ago, and about 1lb last week...which is the most weight loss I've had in a LOOONG time. I would really love another 1lb loss this week *crosses fingers*

This is exactly what I need! I have a lot of extra motivation because the weekend before Thanksgiving, I will be taking a two day instructor training for an exercise class I will begin teaching in the spring. I want to be as fit as possible at that time! Unfortunately I have TWO vacations in October, so it's not going to be easy. I've been sticking to 134ish for the last few weeks and I'm ready to bust through this plateau!

170starting, I am sure that's what it is. As soon as you become more regular you will drop like two lbs immediately! Good luck girl, don't let it get you down. You are doing great!

Not quite as much as I was hoping for but still good considering my whole weekend was off-plan.
