Oh man I have to change my ticker I'm 204 as of today damn junk food and fast food my total weakness!! I'm upset cause in about a year I gained 40lbs back!! Damn better get back on track or it's now or never!!! So everyone weighs in on every Monday I assume?! My goal is to hit the gym tomorrow hope I do I'll post back tomorrow!! Hope everyone had a good day today :)

Jayohwhy- GOOD JOB!!! I would love to run but i've never "been able to" lol. even when I weighed 130 I couldnt run. :( I've decided to make my "thing" biking. I am using a stationary bike now. but hopefully next summer ( i know long way away) I can get a real bike and start doing REAL biking. Cheerios-welcome! I hope you can find support here. and I kinda hate having a ticker because i don't update it a lot and then when I gain weight I don't want to change it.. I haven't worked out today yet.. it's about 11:15 here. I've been really busy with work but i'm hoping to take my lunch break to get on the bike and see how far I can go in 30 minutes!! (I brought my lunch today too so I can eat it whenever I want so I won't be "skipping" lunch) Tonight I'm going shopping for a night out out fit.. I'm really nervous. 1) this is my first time going out with my friends. ever! (well i went out with 2 different friends for my bachelorette party) but this is down in a big party town about an hour from where I live 2) I'm scared i wont find anything. the two girls i'm going out with are like 110 pounds each. and it's sad for me. |
SO proud of myself!!!! I left work for 30 minutes at the end of my day and I did the bike again and I did 7.38 miles!!! So SO SO Proud (it may have been 7.13) either way I'm so happy. I am taking the day off tomorrow from working out. But going to get right back at it at Thursday. This is it this is it! I know we can do it

Keep riding that bike and you will soon reach ur goal weight!! I hope u found something nice to wear for the night out and don't worry about going out with your friends they are ur friends and like u for who u are so dint trip about their weight compared to yours. And for me no gym today I guess for now Im just trying to avoid binges :) I kind of like this support thing it feels like I had to confess I didn't go to the gym and feel a little bad about it maybe it might make me go tomorrow lol

Yay for bike riding!
Today sucked a little since i woke up and couldnt open my left hand without pain. I had to take a half day and go to the doctor who gave me a wrist brace to wear and told me i have to take advil. Today was my rest day so i rested and did some dancing with my xbox kinect. Im still running tomorrow but will have to wear this big clunky brace... I was happy though because i went to norms with a friend and ordered what i wanted but stayed within my points! |
Today. was TERRIBLE!!! Ughhh. My son had his last Physical therapy appointment (YAY!) and so I went into work late.. Well he's been coughing for a few days and few kids at his daycare have bronchitis so I figured I'd get him in to the dr today too since I was already going in late.. and Well I did my same morning routine. Ate my same breakfast. Well the dr can't get him in until 2... and that the earliest and the latest they can get him in. So I call my boss saying hey i'm on my way but I have to leave early to. she says No problem see ya when you get here. well I work my little patooty off at work so I can get 8 hours of work done in 3 and (i did not succeed) at 120 when I was trying to run out of the door(i work 25 minutes from my sons daycare..daycare is 20 minutes away from his dr) and she keeps sending people in my office. over and over. I don't leave work until 240. I call the dr and say sorry running late be there soon. We get to the dr 15 minutes late......and I'm in such a hurry I drop my phone as I'm trying to get both of us out of the car and literally run into the dr and the screen SHATTERS. :( So we wait at the dr for 1.5 hours.. and then we're seen. and they say he has an ear infection and he has to do breathing treatments every 4-6 hours.. ugh and they make me do one while we're there and he's flipping out screaming at the top of his lungs.. completely stressing both of us out. (he's 17 months btw) any finallly we leave there after being there over 2 hours. I stop and get us Mcd's on the way home.. because I hadn't eaten since 8. he hadn't eaten since 11. so I figured I'm already starving. and so is he. lets enjoy our food. ugh so stressful. Needless to say I have a TERRIBLE headache. I didnt work out, I havent eaten right, and I'm so sleepy :(
On a good note.. I'm glad to see that everyone else is having a semi good week! |
hi everyone! i hope you all are doing well. i am down a lb for this week, according to my work based biggest loser contest. I'm sort of bummed because I am impatient, but i know that i WORKED to lose that lb, and losing is better than gaining or staying the same. I figure that a lb a week will add up, especially after 40 weeks and at least ww is a diet that i can stay sane and still follow, and i love to run now.

Good job Jayohwhy!!! That's awesome! I checked the scale this morning and it said I was down a pound since monday. Now whether or not that sticks for my Monday weigh in we will see. i am going out with friends tomorrow night so we will have to see how bad I go off plan

Mind if I join in? I'm actually doing something similar, except I decided on a 100 day challenge...yesterday was day 1, since there were officially 100 days left in 2011. Only 99 to go :P
I'm having one of those days when you seem to just be ravenous no matter what...I keep downing glasses of water and cups of tea hoping that it'll curb my appetite, but so far no dice. Does anyone else get hungrier when TOM is coming? Hope you ladies are all having a good day. Congrats on the losses, Jay and Andrbeck! |

hi! i also had a "too fun" weekend with a lot of food. as i vented in another thread, i ended the weekend "2 lbs" heavier than when i started. its so frustrating! I got stayed the course today and went on my scheduled training run. it actually feels good to continue to accomplish something even though the scale isnt showing it. however, i was so TIRED during my run! i didnt stop though, except for at a crosswalk, but that wasnt my choice, haha.

good job for going and getting back at it today! those numbers are just that NUMBERS They mean nothing when you look at your self and you feel good. I am feeling VERY tired today but I'm hoping I can still get to the gym and do the bike for 30 minutes. I'm getting over a cold that I think I got from my son.. so I've been drinking a lot of water and eating fruit. I took all of my vitamins this morning and I want to make this week count. I'm going camping this weekend and I hope to maybe do a trail or something. They are decorating the camp sites and having trick or treating.. so I will at least get to walk the large are for a while.
