I am so upset with myself! I was lax about IF'ing and working out after my last weigh-in, and it shows on the scale. This morning I weighed in at 174.8. I couldn't believe it! I hopped on and off several times, and the weight on the scale jumped around, but more times than not it settled at 174.8. That is a 6.8 lb gain. Well, I know what I must do, so I'll do it. I just had to vent! I'm so happy this challenge is starting again.

You don't need to post in the thread at all if you don't want to (as long as you update the spreadsheet every week). You can be as active or inactive in posting as you want.

Enter your weight in the spreadsheet any day of the week you want as long as your weight it is in by the deadline (Thursdays at Midnight US eastern time). The "rules" are on the first page .

themilesawaygirl - I'm going to stick with Thursdays too. I also like having most of the week to make up for the weekends. And don't be to hard on yourself, you're already at a normal weight for your height, and I've found it's a lot harder now that I'm at a lower weight. Plus, you stuck with the whole first 12 week challenge, something that a lot of the participates did not do. Be proud!

ade903 - I've been a vegetarian for 9 years now, so if you ever want to discuss veggie related diet challenges I'm all ears. Was never able to go vegan, so I think it's pretty awesome that you are putting an emphasis on trying to go mostly vegan!

Scarlett - Glad to hear you have a job opportunity that could at least help you through grad school. From what I've learned about you from the last challenge thread I think you'll be a great addition wherever you end up!

I ended up taking my ending weight from the last challenge and adding two pounds for my new boobs (got em yesterday!) to get my starting weight. Between water retention and my horrible eating habits the last few days I probably won't get back there for a few weeks, but I decided that I would be most comfortable with that number.

Welcome to the new participates! Let's all get healthier and lose some weight!

I'm hoping to lose a fair bit of weight, but I really need a support system, something I don't really have right now since I just moved away from friends and family to a new state. Hopefully, being accountable to this challenge will help me stick with it, because I know I've got a plateau to overcome in about 10 pounds... It's where I gave up last time.

Hi girls oh my I wasn't on here in forever

I would like to join but I have my leg in a cast.. Long story Can't exercise and I think it adds a bit of weight too..

Do you think I join anyways?

I need a challenge to keep my eating in check - I'm so bored at home and than I eat.. I can't even walk around normaly but the fridge is not far.. Oh and my wallet got stolen today too. AT WORK!! 200€ worth of documents and cash gone. Awful week for me I fear stepping on the scale. I just know it will make this week even worse.

I'm from the Houston area as well

It really is hard to find a support system where you don't know anyone. This forum is really great and there are plenty of people here that are very supportive.

I just cleaned up some glitches in the spreadsheet. I also added some more rows and re-alphabetized.


Paloma- thanks for the support. I'm starting to feel like the momentum is shifting for me and things are going to happen soon. I'm sure your numbers will be fine. You just had serious surgery. It will level out soon. Don't be too hard on yourself .

Primetime - Glad you're back

Khat - Welcome Back!! I think you should join. I'm sorry about you hurting your leg. Yeah the cast will add to your weight but it will be the same every week. Therefore you'll be able to tell if you lost a pound or gained. Even if the challenge just helps you maintain while your leg heals and watch what you eat it will be a good thing .
