I've been stuck in the 180's all year. Sadly it has just crept up to a now 188. I have only seen the 190's while 9 months pregnant so this is very depressing for me. I have been trying to eat healthier this week but it seems to not be enough. Today i'm starting meal replacement shakes/smoothies for 2 meals a day (plus one real meal a day and vege/fruit for snacks) and see if that helps any.

bamagirl28 -- I feel your pain. TOM should be next week for me, and I am all kinds of bloated. Also, cranky. Bad combination.

taramade -- Good luck! I'm sure you can do it. Just keep it up w/eating and exercising.

kells629 -- Awesome! I'm so not a runner, so I'm impressed by anyone who can!

Today, I weighed in at 185!! So, three possibilities.

1. I gained 3 pounds in a week.
2. Pre-TOM bloating/water weight.
3. The scale hates me.

I'm guessing it's a combo of 1 and 2, but I'm seriously leaning toward 3 right now...

firefoxy: Definitely voting number three right now. Weighed in at 188.0 this morning, even though official weigh in day isn't until Monday -- I weigh in every day to either torture myself or get a better idea of where I am (can't decide which right now.)

But finished Week 4, Day 1 of C25K which made me feel really strong, I just can't think that I've put on 4-5 lbs of muscle in the past 3-4 weeks and that's why my weight is so stagnant. Really need to re-buy a tape measurer.

Down to 186 woohoo! I started running as well as changed my eating habits a couple of days ago and so far so good! Before that my scale wasn't budging except a little in the wrong direction. I can't wait to see the 170's again.

uklass -- Welcome! Congrats on the weight loss so far
Everyone -- Keep up the good work! Your posts inspire me to push harder, too.

Today I weighed in at 183.8, which is 1.2 pounds down from Friday. My WI's last week were crazy -- anywhere from 182 to 185. Hopefully, the bloating and water retention is stabilizing now!

Trying to stay extra on track (if that makes sense) so next week will be even better. I plan to be out of the 180's by the end of August.

I so wish I could beat the 180s. I've been here for months and I am doing so much right. I haven't lost one pound in 3 months. I've been shaking up my food and exercise but nothing is working. I did go from 190 to 180 so that's a success, but still. Wish I could keep going, you know?

Hey guys! So excited because I weighed in at 189.4 today. I hope to be out of this thread by Sept. 13th.

Quick bio: I am 24 y.o. and started calorie counting on May 2nd 2011. I have gone from 222lbs to 189.4 lbs since then and it feels amazing. I am so excited to lose the next ten because with each ten that you lose the more noticeable it becomes! Good luck to all you who just arrived or those that are so close to the 170s!
