1200 seems about right as a calorie amount for someone your size who is sedentary. If you're constantly hungry, try loading up on non-starchy vegetables, protein, and/or fiber. As for non-cook dinner ideas, have you tried eating breakfast (oatmeal, cereal) for dinner? You can also probably eat low-sodium soups or sandwiches (PB&J
). Salad is also good. I don't cook, so I live off of a steady diet of easy-to-prepare, microwaveable meals.
