yup i've skipped stuff often, not only to avoid food but also to avoid people seeing me cuz i don't like how i look when i do go to birthdays, holiday stuff, etc.. i usually bring my own big salad and hate that i have to be different. i always wonder are people thinking "why is she pretending to eat salad, look how fat she is"

I think that too when I'm buying healthy food and salads in the grocery store! Like... I'm convinced people stare at me and think that.
Ladies, how about we all just go out and have fun from now on... when we feel self conscious we can remember that we all feel the same and just agree NOT TO LET IT GET TO US! Screw other people... if they don't like how I look, that's their problem. I went to the movies tonight with my mother (who recently lost 80lbs and looks AMAZING) and we saw Bridesmaids. I was so happy to get out of the house I hide in!!!
