Default Outdoor activities for parties of one??

Hello all, I recently graduated law school and I'll be studying for the bar most of the summer. When I do take a break I'm hoping to spend some time outside DOING something. However, I don't have many friends in the area so I'm trying to figure out fun things to do outside when there's just me.

I like walking so that's obviously a big one, but does anyone else have any fun ideas? I'll get bored with walking if that's all I do! Lol.

Did you try C25k yet? Nice program, gets you running. :-)

I second the C25K suggestion. Otherwise, jumping rope, hula hoop, take up golf, garden?

Biking (either road or mountain biking)?

Maybe change where you're walking? Find some nice nature hikes as opposed to stroll around the neighborhood.

I'm one for hiking... hopefully there's some nice scenery/views where you live - makes the biggest difference
