I have a serious problem w/ cereal in general. I was just posting about this in a different thread the other day. Even just plain bran cereal, I've gotten to the point where I don't buy cereal because I can eat an entire box in one day.

Yep, me too. I had to stop buying cereal, period, because I can't eat just one serving. Me and sugar have a love/hate relationship....

Cereal is just ridiculously high in calories. I used to think it was healthy -- so much cereal industry brainwashing! Cereal was a "side" to a real breakfast... a "real" breakfast was eggs, sausage, and potatoes, right?

Anyway, I'm now a refried beans-and-egg-whites kind of gal. Or veggie omelet (no cheese). Or oatmeal. All these things are more delicious, more fulling, less processed, and less absurdly sugary than those "healthy" cereals.

I can't eat cereal without eating ALL the cereal, so I don't eat it. But I'd say you crave Raisin Bran because it's got just enough sugar to get you hooked, while not enough sugar to overload you/make you feel sick.
