Default Kinda mad at myself..

I usually bring my lunch to work. And today they were ordering Jimmy Johns. Normally I pass but for some uknown reason I said sure I'd love to have an extremely high calorie unhealthy meal. So now with it being only 345 here... I am 15 calories (or more) over my daily allowance. And I feeel like crap. I plan on working out tonight.. But I feel like I shouldn't eat dinner now and we were going to a BBQ place

This is also a good thing Because I am realizing I can't just eat whatever I want if I want to lose weight. blah.

Awww, don't beat yourself up. Also, for next time - Jimmy john's has a great nutrition calculator on their site, and you can come up with some very healthy choices.

For tonight - can you access the BBQ joints menu? If so look and see if there is a salad or small portion of grilled chicken you can order.

Yeah, that happened last Friday where I work. Someone offered to go pick them up and I found myself ordering. I did have the presence of mind to order a turkey sandwich with no fries so at least I didn't feel like I blew the whole day. Don't beat yourself up over a sandwich - lesson learned!

I'm of the mindset that it took a lot more than one "bad" meal to gain all my weight so one slip up isn't the end all be all. Heck, you may still lose depending on your total calorie deficit for the week.

I'm through with chastising myself for not being perfect with my food choices. Give youself a hug, go have a healthy dinner and smile.

Sometimes though...you just have to give in. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Here's the thing...this is a life style change...and any skinny person I know...has meals like that once in a while.

Make sure at dinner you just make a better choice...get a salad and something grilled. Don't beat yourself up over it...but don't use it as an excuse to binge or keep eating meals like that.

Enjoy dinner...don't skip it, just make a great choice!

I agree do not skip dinner. I can lead to a binge later in the day or tomorrow. Make a good choice tonight and remember tomorrow is a new day.

If you haven't, Jimmy Johns sans bread is really amazing! I used to get whatever had turkey, cheese, avocado and veggies (no mayo) on a lettuce wrap. I could eat that for probably 50 days in a row it's so delicious. JJ's is one of the few places that prepares a breadless sandwich that isn't so much lettuce I feel like a zoo animal eating it.
