I am not an expert but I read one time that your brain need more carbs to function normally that the Atkins lets you have. I don't know if that is true I read it a while ago. If it is ture that would be a little scarry.

1.) scrambled eggs/fritatta. i use TONS of different veggies + f/f cheese. + leftover ham/chicken/turkey + sometimes some tuna.

2.) yoghurt (f/f greek or f/f plain)
canned pumpkin
a bit of f/f goat milk spread or f/f cream cheese or f/f sour cream
s/f canned pumpkin
sweetner or s/f f/f pudding mix
sometimes crush w/w toast into it or pretzels. LOL.

+

gourmet hazelnut cream or irish cream coffee w/ sweetner.
or sugar-free juice.
or s/f almond milk (original, vanilla, or chocolate.) & will sometimes add in even more s/f/ f/f pudding mix (chocolate, chocolate fudge, white chocolate, vanilla, or butterscotch') to make it taste even better.

i also eat the pumpkin thing or egg crustless-quiche as a snack in between meals & before bed. any time, really. it tastes like pumpkin pie. i can't believe i didn't think of this sooner.

i sometimes put my f/f yoghurt in a blender w/ the s/f almond milk w/ berries &/or a banana. it turns it into a smoothie. i sometimes even add some diet rootbeer or diet cream soda.

Ughh. I never want to eat breakfast, especially bc if I dont eat it, I'm not hungry mostly for the rest of the day and if i do it eat I want eggo waffles or like some sugary cereal for breakfast grrrr. Unfortunately, that is unhealthy and counter productive to weight loss. So since I HAVE to eat breakfast lol this is what I usually eat:

1. low fat cottage cheese small curd w/ some type of fruit : strawberries, blueberries, etc

2. greek yogurt w/ blueberries + bluberry flax granola

3. 1 egg + 2 egg whites w/ one slice of double fiber whole wheat toast

4. non fat milk + whatever fruit + carnation breakfast essentials + ice in my magic bullet

My breakfast is quick and easy so I can bring it to work. At the start of the week I boil some eggs.

Then I have a boiled egg, yogurt (love Activia i gave up on that low calorie crap) and some fruit. Keeps me full most days until lunch. Sometimes I have some canadian bacon or oatmeal. But I just loved boiled eggs, full of protein, easy and they keep me full!

Hey everyone
Thank you for your input and suggestions. I am aware of the restriction I face as a diabetic and the smarter choice I have to make. Sometimes I can take a breakfast and tailor it to my diet needs. I am not insulin dependent but will be discussing my options further with my doctor soon.

the hard boiled egg, fruit/yogurt thing is what i've been eating mainly. Egg and veggies. I'm working on some new breakfast options. thank you again for all your suggestions! Take care everyone
