Children/Ages: 1/3
Occupation: Customer Service Director
Pets: No
Height: 5' 6"
Eye/Hair Color: hazel/ brown
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: TBA...search for my final kick in the butt starts today
Starting Weight: 176
Present Weight:145
Goal Weight:130
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: to start my diet...
Following any specific plan: I am attempting to start the Trim Nutrition HCG 28 day Program
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Previously ALL weight i lost was simply from NOT EATING....I was splitting with my daughters father and was struggling to get on my feet and begin a new life as a single parent...I worked an overnight shift and ran on diet pills and energy drinks...I dropped all the way to 115(ew) and now i just want to be healthy and have a flat tummy!
Anything else you would like to share with us: Any advice, tips, on how to stay committed would help!

First name: Steph
Geographical location: North Carolina
Age: 23
Marital Status: World's best boyfriend. Never met a more supportive, more reasonable, more loyal and caring man in my life; never happier.
Children/Ages: None.
Occupation: Er, sort of between jobs. I worked for the past year as a resident nightclub DJ, but the owners recently decided to close the club for renovations with no word on when they're planning to re-open. They offered to re-hire me when they open again, but I think it's time to move along to a day job and pick and choose when and where I want to play, instead of spending EVERY weekend night working.
Pets: My kitty, Zarathustra.
Hobbies/Interests: DJing, reading, clubbing, playing video games on the PS2/DS/Steam for Mac.
Height: 5'4".
Eye/Hair Color: Brown/brown.
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: July 1, 2011.
Starting Weight: 178.6 lbs.
Present Weight: Same.
Goal Weight: 122 lbs.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weight loss: I'm staying with my folks for a few weeks as I wait for my new lease to begin. Whenever I stay with my parents, I'm surrounded by very poor, impulsive eaters. I'm battling this by making dinner for my family every night and trying to get a few vegetables into them. ;p
Following any specific plan: Counting calories using LiveStrong's Daily Plate; using a beginner's program for Olympic race walking for 5x weekly exercise.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm older, wiser, and a bit less frantic. I'm ready to put patience and time into my health, rather than wanting to immediately drop pounds.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm way into healthy recipes with lots of veggies and ESPECIALLY crock pot cooking. I'm trying to learn to eat more whole foods. I'm also very interested in eating healthily on a budget--if anyone has a blog (or a recommendation for a blog), I'd love to read it!

Height:5' 4"
Eye/Hair Color: Both brown.
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: april 2011
Starting Weight: 220
Present Weight:203.4
Goal Weight: 132
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Lack of enthusiasm for working out.
Following any specific plan: Counting calorie intake & wearing a bodybug.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm more focused, I have more information and better tools.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I was a chubby kid, became a slightly overweight teenager when I walked 20 or so minutes to school and back everyday. When I moved to another house, I had to the bus instead and lost contact with my best friends. That's when I started to gain weight very quickly. My BMI reached obese class II last year and was very close to class III this year. That's when I knew I couldn't pretend everything was ok anymore - I was wearing the largest size available in afordable stores. I love to choose clothes and try them on, but I could only find a couple that fit and that made me very sad and frustated.
I am currently obese class I, and I want to have a normal 23 BMI by the end of this year. I know I can do it, and I will.

Hobbies/Interests: travel!! dancing, trashy reality tv, cooking, event planning
Height:5' 4"
Eye/Hair Color: Hazel/light brown
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: June 2011
Starting Weight: 180lbs
Present Weight: 180lbs
Goal Weight: 135
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Lack of enthusiasm for working out. Pigging out on carbs
Following any specific plan: Going to start taking Diabetic Type II medicine, do 30 day shred workout dvd everyday!
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm the heaviest I've ever been and I can't stand it anymore.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I have a wonderful, loving boyfriend that thinks I'm beautiful and sexy but I can hardly look at myself in the mirror anymore~! I feel heavy all of the time and can't even really fit into my work pants that are a size 16. It's embarrassing and I hate it.
My track record is that I'm extreme. Either I'm writing everything I eat down in a journal and being very strict, or eating whatever I want and however much I want of it. My new approach is to be more moderate!

First name: Holly
Geographical location: Frome in Somerset England
Age: 22
Marital Status: Single but dating of the internet variety
Children/Ages: 0 thankfully, I want to enjoy being 22 and fancy free for a while
Occupation: officially unemployed but I have 2 volunteer job to make my cv look good and keep me out of trouble (or so my male friends say-where they've gotten that idea from I have no idea)
Pets: an elderly, deaf jack russell called gromit, an insane patterdale terrier called tilly, and a mad cat called Mabel (who lives with my mum)
Hobbies/Interests: reading, writing, belly dancing, cooking, dvd nights with my friends, going on dates, a good bottle of red wine, jogging oddly enough.
Height: 5'9"
Eye/Hair Color: dark blue eyes, blonde hair
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: officially in 2009 some when but I've fallen off the wagon quite a few times I've lost track of the actual date.
Starting Weight: 246 this was when I weighed in at weight watchers in 2009
Present Weight: 217 (I gained and re-lost about 24lbs since WW)
Goal Weight: 160lbs but I might alter it when I reach goal
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: boredom eating, and stopping my wine habit. Inevitably wine leads to major munchies for me, and I binge on all things related to carbs, cheese, pastry, potato and chocolate
Following any specific plan: low carb/low calorie with plenty of exercise
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I can't spend another summer hot, sweaty in jeans and long sleeved shirts, its way to uncomfortable. I also have a few weddings coming up and I don't want to get dumped for being over weight ever again. All the things I want to do like climbing mt Kilimanjaro, traveling in hot countries etc would go a lot better if I shifted the excess weight.
Anything else you would like to share with us: Just that I love this site and I am very grateful for the support and positive comments and advice from all the amazing members. Thank you for inventing 3FC

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Saying no to the junk food, and staying on track with my exercise routine.
Following any specific plan: Excercising 5 days a week for 60 minutes in the gym, calorie couting using MyFitnessPal
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am doing it for me instead of because other people want me to be their workout partner.

Age: 23
Marital Status: With the man I will marry (once we get our credit in shape and his past tickets are paid off >.>)
Children/Ages: 0
Occupation: I work at a Tuxedo shop and I'm a Formal Wear Specialist/Consultant
Pets: 1 kitty. His name is Burger
Hobbies/Interests: I'm really into photography and I loooovee reading! I'm an avid entertainment junkie too :P
Height: 4'11"
Eye/Hair Color: 2 different colored eyes. One is dark brown the other changes but it's mostly green. And my natural hair is a black/brown, but I constantly dye it. Right now it's dark ash blonde on top and black underneath
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: Technically July 9th, 2011. But I've been back and forth for the last 2 months.
Starting Weight: 140lbs
Present Weight: 136.5
Goal Weight: 100/95lbs
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My addiction to food. When I'm bored, I eat. When I wanna relax, I eat. When I'm not stuffed, I eat. When I have a taste for something even if I'm stuffed, I eat it anyways.
Following any specific plan: Just slightly calorie counting and good ol' exercise (treadmill & The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout Game for XBOX360 Kinect)
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm moving back to California in a few months and the first time I moved out there to live with my boyfriend it was very hard for me to meet people and be comfortable. Even meeting his family made my anxiety soar. I have an anxiety disorder and I notice that anytime I feel more comfortable with my body its almost non existent. I don't want his family to hate me, and I want to see everyone's reactions!!
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm so happy I found this place it's really keeping me in line. My boyfriend just said he was so proud of me for being so into this. I'm even inspiring him to get him shape

Marital Status: Single but have a boyfriend of 1 year and 9 months
Children/Ages: None
Occupation: Student and a Circulation Desk Clerk at an on-campus library
Pets: None but actually going to meet a rescue dog tomorrow and may come home with him
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, movies, TV, writing, religion, lgbt rights, etc.
Height: 5'2"
Eye/Hair Color: Brown/Brown
Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: I've been trying for 10 years, but my official start date of this time (hopefully the final time!) is yesterday - 07/11/11
Starting Weight: 275
Present Weight: 275
Goal Weight: 150
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Emotional eating and overeating; sweet tooth; mentality
Following any specific plan: Just healthy eating (whole grains, low sugar/fat/cal, high protein, lots of water, etc.) and cardio and strength training 6 days/week
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Now I feel like it's now or never. In the past, I always felt I had more time, and I would lose the weight "eventually." But in August I will start a 2 year grad program that will probably turn into a total of 6 years before I earn my Ph.D. I need to get into healthy habits NOW before my research consumes me or else I will be like this for the next six years and maybe longer.
Anything else you would like to share with us: Just help me to not give up!
