anyone get disgusted at the weight gain at TOM? im weighing 3.5 # more than i usually do and im getting very pissy to be quite honest. :mad:

I'm ready for it to GO away NOW. geeez. ive been pushing more water today. End of TOM will be tuesdayy. grrr. Im ready to see below 126 now!!!

Sorry for my rant ive seen this number for 2-3 days now and its really starting to bother me. I've been excercising like no other, eating good, i just do not get it. Sure ive had a couple things here and there but i know they do not amount to 3.5 lbs worth!!!

I just hate how I feel. The weight gain is annoying, but what bothers me more is that I can SEE it, especially in my thighs. My whole body just looks bloated and it drives me insane, and then I feel like crap.

Mine usually goes away 2-3 days after TOM is over.

Hope this is true for me, TOM ended yesterday and I weighed myself today at 174..arrgh. Lots of water and workouts for me today :carrot:

TOM is a *******. I feel like such a failure and its so disheartening every time i step on the scale. But.... 2 days after TOM goes away, its nice to see a 2- 3+ difference on the scale or so ;-) If i ignore the fact that I'm no losing and stick to my plan. I just have to remind myself, Its not ME its Tom. lol

Well, the thing that I didn't mention is that it doesn't go away if I don't exercise (or it takes longer). I look like I've peed myself after a post-TOM work out, but it does the trick.

This is definitely something I definitely don't miss. I don't get TOM because of my Mirena IUD. Best. Invention. Ever!

I want to try this form of BC, but I'm using the Nuvaring after **** using the pill and it's working so well I'm too scared to look for anything better!

I don't miss it either..I don't get it for other medical reasons though which are actually unhealthy. I can't believe I am saying it but I am actually excited to lose the weight so that I DO have TOM. After I get it regularly I know ill ***** that I have it though LOL.

Agreed. Once, I gained 12 lbs. TWELVE. I have no idea where it came from. No wonder I always felt awful before I kept track of my weight.. I just didnt know why.

UGHH i hate even going NEAR the scale around TOM..yet I can't help myself and still weigh during that time...Then I get frustrated I've gained 3-4 lbs overnight....I need to learn to avoid the scale that week :| :mad:

Thank gosh I'm back to 171 today!! TOM always messes with weight loss, never lose weight that week, eugh.

Oh well, it's monday morning, back to work!!

I hate it too... I gain about 5lbs right before it starts, and it goes away a few days post... Bothersome...

Ugh, TOM is the worst!!

I'm on the tail end of my TOM, and I've had an OBNOXIOUS bloat gain this month. I had a bad month last month (binges...yuck), and for the first time in all of my maintenance, I got back up to the high end of my range and even jumped over it a few times. I maintained 125-127 for months and months, now I'm between 128-130. I've been perfectly on plan for about three weeks now and my weight seemed to be slowly drifting back down, I saw 127 a few times and I was elated to be back in my comfort zone. Then my motherfreaking TOM came and put me back at 129-130.

I was 129.4 yesterday morning for my official recorded Monday weight, and it pissed me off. I really hope I pee this weight off over the next few days because I'm tired of looking at it.

And somebody mentioned they can see their TOM weight and not just feel it...I see mine too. My tummy turns into a mushy marshmellow.

I feel your pain, hehe.

This thread is really interesting, I'm only a couple of months into tracking my weight loss on the scales, and it's my TOM now. I'm about 1.5kg up on my Sunday weigh in, and had no real belief it could all be down to TOM, so you ladies have given me hope, I've not actually got fatter!

What I hate more than the weight mess up for me is the bloody laziness. I did a workout tonight, and I felt less fit than I did 2 months ago, it was just so hard. I hope I've got my umph back tomorrow, I can't take another workout like that.

Managing to stay OP with food is so hard too, but doing that, and then still being heavier/uglier/less fit is just not fair.
