    I have to say I went from 3 pound weights to 5 pound. This is my first day and I was able to do ALL cardio for once without stopping. the beginning for push ups I only did 12 each set, and the lunge with the weight I did 15 instead of the the whole thing she does each set. Other than that I'm pretty impressed with myself on this one. My trainer whipped me into better shape then I thought. I remember the first set I was huffing and puffing last year doing here. but I'm going to keep this up, I'll probably do level 1 til the end of the week then move up to level two.

    Ok, I just had to tell you guys that since starting the shred, I have lost a total of 7 inches all over!!!!!!!!!!!!! I redid my measurements last night because I want to do them at each level change, so I did them, & I was shocked. So, I'm half-bragging, but also half-encouraging that this works wonders!! Keep up the good work!

    Thank goodness I'm almost done with the 10 days, I'm getting a little bored, and I hate when she calls the backup actresses "Buddy". It really really gets under my skin. OK, maybe that's the new birth control talking, but it takes everything I have not to throw weights at the tv when she says it. Annoying butt. (This is the PG version of what I actually say, it's not pretty).

    Jeez - level 2 kicked my a$$! My arms feel like jelly. Walk out pushups? Hate them. Pendulum lunges? Hate them. Plank twists? Yep, hate them too. I feel really accomplished that I did it, though!
  • Hi everyone, This is my 3rd time restarting my weight loss journey. I want it to be my last time. I'm hoping to finally make eating sensibly, drinking water, and daily exercise regular parts of my daily life!

    I'm doing 30DS, C25K, and distance walking. I hope to add cardio and yoga DVDs to my regimen.

    Levels 1 and 2 are difficult for me. I need to regain my upper body strength. I think two weeks of daily 30DS will allow me to handle this type of workout again. I look forward to sharing my journey with you all.

  • WTG Madison! Makes me wish I had measured instead of using weight... I'm looking forward to a big whoosh in changes when I start level 2 tomorrow. It looks tough! I remember it being tough the last time I tried it.

    So the question is now, do I go on or do I stay at Level 1? I am able to make it most of the way through. Still can't do real pushups, only the girlie ones, but I keep up on everything else, albeit out of breath and sweaty as heck.. Thoughts?
