Truth or Just Wishful thinking
:dizzy:
Ok, don't start laughing at me yet. I have a question. You may laugh after I ask it. Is there any truth behind the statement: You should lose 10-20 lbs. before starting an excerise regimine because all the added fat you want to lose will turn into muscle. comense laughing..... |
0 truth :)
fat cells and muscle cells are different things entirely. |
Thanks...I am going to give it a go today with my stetching and crunches...maybe a walk?!?
darnit! |
yay go walk :)
you can do it! baby steps! |
newborn steps....lol
|
If God meant for us to do crunches She would not have invented spandex :lol
|
urgh i have to take my own advice and drag my butt to the gym tonight
i'd rather just slog through this cold weather and then crawl into a warm bed :moo: but no! must resist! |
The original statement is false.
But if it were true and fat COULD turn into muscle, I'd be pumping iron every possible second of every possible day. Muscle is more dense than fat. That means that if you have a pound of fat and a pound of muscle, the muscle is going to LOOK smaller. Not to mention firmer!! |
