My scale is so, so cruel...
Okay so I just weighed myself - as I normally do on random days right after I wake up. I had a cheat day on Valentine's Day and wasn't expecting much, even though I only went 1,000 calories over my normal intake of 1,200. So truly not even a bad cheat day! But anywho... I get on the scale and what do I see?...
199! 199! 199! I just about crapped myself! 199? :carrot: I've entered (and left) onederland on more than one occasion and every time I come back it still is like a "HOLY CRAP! I'M OUT OF THE 200s!!!!" feeling. Of course, I wanted to document this moment on my cellphone and send it to my friend in a picture message. But I got too distracted whilst nearly crapping myself to take a picture. So, I step on again... 203.4. I try again... 203.4 Again? 203.4 ... :censored: Who knew a scale could be so cruel? Granted it's another few pounds lost, but still... I hope all of your scales are kind to you, today, ladies and gentleman. If not, maybe my scale and your scale can create some kind of a scale army and kill the hopes and dreams of dieters everywhere! |
Oh Hun I was so excited for you and then I kept reading. Well poo. Losing is losing though, yay! And let your scale know that I would like some company in the 190s thread, it's pretty slow over there :)

 It happens, and it's always frustrating. But you'll be in onederland soon!!

I sometimes have the same issues. It seems to me the body likes to be a fickle creature when it comes to "weigh-in time". Probably water retention or something similar.
Whenever the little mechanical devil tries to get me down I like to soothe myself with the fact that if I felt like it, I could easily crush it! - L89 |
My scale was being mean today too.. but it didnt even give me a good number before the bad. LOL.
Just wanted to add you are still SUPER DUPER close to Onederland! You can do it. :) |
Darn that scale!
|
That is why I don't step back on the scale the same day after I weigh myself. I still say count it as 199. If it changes tomorrow when you do it again above 200...then I don't know. But kick the scale you'll feel better.

I try not to weigh myself for at least a month, that way I'm not getting upset at my weights constant fluctuation through out the day, and it's usually a bigger suprise.
