Varies, usually between 3-6 times a week. 2-4 of those times are 1 hour yoga classes, 1-3 times cardio and strength.
I find sometimes that spacing out workouts (i.e. M/W/F/S or M/T/Th/F) keeps me from overpromising myself and actually go to the workouts I schedule. If I make myself go every day by the end of the week I might get lazy and skip Th/F. If I only allow myself every other day or require myself to take a gap day (Wednesday), I am more likely to be fully committed to the other days, and actually get excited about going. Kind of convoluted I guess, but everyone needs their idiosyncratic mind tricks to keep them motivated :) |
tigtan- that seems odd. Did they say why?

Icon, coach said to start with food plan and that it was enough. ??? She said that it was important 1st to re-train my pancreas then add in exercise. I've worked out 2 days in a row and I feel great. I'm going to follow the advice here and chat w my coach at my weigh in on Wed.

It really depends on my schedule for each week, but usually at least 4 times. Sometimes as much as six times a week. I always give myself at least one day off to rest every week. I exercise anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours at times. If I am doing weights and cardio together it just takes longer.

5-6 days for me. Currently I am alternating between running (for cardio) with abs/pushups at the end, and then the other days are Bikram Yoga for toning.
I plan to transition back to gym classes in place of the Yoga when the weather changes, so that I can run outside and do my toning stuff inside. Any exercise is good exercise! |
