Thumbs down insane in the membrane, insane in the brain

So.... I had TOM this week and I completely lost my damn mind... I stopped counting, stopped weighing in every day. I don't know if I've always been like this or its just this time, it has been a super stressfull week with moving, annoying coworkers, fighting with the bf, and last TOM I was sick so I hardly ate. So today is a new day and I'm back on my plan. I hope next month I can control myself. Does anyone have any advice, or encouraging words? Lol

You can totally do it!! A lot of people have problems staying OP during TOM, what's important is that you are getting back on track now. I have times when I feel like there's too much going on to worry about weight loss... the important thing is that you know that "today is a new day"... so true.

Also, love the title of this thread, now I've got that song stuck in my head!!

Getting back on track will be a snap! Stress + TOM is tough to weather so it's understandable that things went a little nuts. You can do it

I'll be singing that song for the next 4 hours. I'm sorry you had a tough week - jump back in with the very next meal like you never stopped and you'll feel back to normal in no time.

I didn't smoke though I quit smoking, and I usually go to that when stressed.
I heard that song in a bar last night, and thought it was a great thread title.

You can do it, we ALL have major set backs but the main thing is we get back on track as soon as we can. This isn't called a journey because it's easy that's for sure!

oh!

In that case do not even worry! Hormones make you nuts and are NOT a reflection of your progress or commitment!

Also, your metabolism is much higher during at that point in the cycle than at any other time, so even if you do slip and go hog wild it won't effect your diet very much. Don't stress!

I did the same thing! I had my first Tom since having my son and I went completely crazy! like a different person took over my body. I stayed up late ate chocolate and drank a margarita. doesn't sound that bad untill I tell you I did this three nights in a row and didn't wrk out! YUCK!

But remember it's just a day or two or in my case three. get back on track and soon you'll be feeling better!
