The "eat and walk"
I am home sick with a cold today and innately have the munchies. However, I figured out a trick tonsils down my eating. I am keeping my food in the kitchen and walking around the house only allowing myself one bite at a time.
That way, my food lasts longer and I'm getting my housework done! |
I find that cutting up my food in really tiny pieces before I eat helps my mind think that I'm eating more when in fact, I'm not.
Also, instead of having a buffet style meal (sitting down at a table w/ the food in front of me), i'll make a plate and go watch tv in the other room so I'm not tempted to come back for seconds. Works well :) |
