Good Luck!! I have thought of doing these many times. Just have not had the money. Can't wait to hear all about it. Would love to know how the meals taste.

I will definately let you know! I should get the meals in 4-10 days.

The first time I tried to lose weight, I started with Nutrisystem. It definitely helped as I lost 20lbs the first two months, but after that I became bored with their food selection and found it wasn't sustainable.

My advice to you? Use it! It will be great! But as you're going along, learn other food options along the way for something you can stick with! It's DEFINITELY a great program to start with! Let us know how it goes!!!

Thanks for the advice! How was the transition back to different foods for you? Were you able to maintain the loss? Did you only eat Nutrisystem or substitute every now and then?

I'll be honest with you, everyone is different. For me, I found I wasn't able to maintain the loss. I kept it off for about 1 week after I stopped Nutrisystem and then slowly but surely within 2 months I had gained it all back.

The trick is (I know this now) to find something that you can stick with for life. Nutrisystem IS a great starter program, I truly do believe that. I think the transition back to different foods is what got me. I was eating out of boxes every night (and some of their food is really good!) and I knew nothing about calorie or portion control because I was just eating their food. As long as you do your research along the way you'll be good.

Incorporate salads and proteins and food in it's natural state (veggies, fruits) into it, and you'll go far!

Part of my problem could have been that I just wasn't ready. I wasn't exercising I was JUST using Nutrisystem. So it was definitely partly just me not being ready and JUST using their foods.

I'm checking this out right now...I might actually do this as well. I'll see though for my cash flow.

My sister lost 80 lbs on Nutrisystem. She was able to keep the weight off, because the plan also comes with an "eating out" guide - and then you can figure out what to eat when its not Nutrisystem food.

I tried it and it did NOT work for me. I have a bit of an allergy to artificial sweeteners, and their food is LOADED with Splenda. It was like I had a 3 month long migraine. Plus, I like variety, so I never at what I was supposed to.

If you're disciplined and can keep to eating the food, I think you'll be fine :)
