Instead of saying miles or anything my treadmill has a place that counts the distance you go? I'm wondering of it means miles or what today I walked for 30 mins at a fast pace it read 1.42 when I was done does that meal I walked a little over a mile n a half? I don't have the book to it I bought it used I'm just a little confused thanx in advance! =)

If you were walking, it most likely means 1.42 miles, so just shy of a mile and a half.
