Week 2 ReCap - November Challenge

  • How has everyone's week gone with their goals?
  • 1. FINISH THE HALF WITHOUT WALKING - did that!!

    2.___ DRINK 100 OZ. WATER DAILY - did this 2 days - got to work on that

    3.___ CUT BACK ON CHOCOLATE (REPLACE WITH FRUIT) - did this twice that i am aware of

    4.___ ABDOMINAL TRAINING – 3X WEEK - did this!!

    6.___ PILATES VIDEO – 2 X WEEK - only did this zero times

    7.___ LOSE MINIMUM OF 1 INCH IN ALL AREAS - won't know for a few weeks

    8.___ EAT SENSIBLY DURING THANKSGIVING BREAK- won't know for a few weeks


    9. BE AT 167 BY THANKSGIVING! - not looking like i will even though i'm doing a lot of the right things

    like last week - really need to work on water!! but, i have been to the gym 6 times - so that's good that i'm getting back on track
  • Hi Emily! How was your week?

    Recap of mine:

    1) Follow the 8 minutes in the morning (6x a week) - As long as I do it tonight & tomorrow, I'm on track!

    2) Walk 30-60 minutes a day, 5x a week. - I'm on track! I have only been walking 30 minutes, but trying for higher intensities.

    3) Take my vitamin every day. - I missed last Sunday. I actually remembered at night, but I have had problems taking these vitamins on an empty stomach.

    4) Drink 8+ glasses (16oz.) water during the day, and at least 2 glasses at night. - I'm on track!

    5) Move! - I think I did this a little less this week. I will make an effort next week.

    6) Follow my eating plan with only one meal off a week. - I'm on track! I was thinking of having my one meal tonight (literally have not had a night with DH since Monday), but decided to wait until Sunday again. I'm worried a Friday night treat could lead to weekend indiscretions.

    And....the ultimate goal of weighing under 140 before Thanksgiving...MET! I weighed 139 today. Now I just have to hang on to it!

  • Well, things haven't been going that well...I had lost three pounds in october but so far this month I have gained four. Not great news, but I know what I have to do...just make sure I drink a lot of water, and really think about it before I eat. Night time, after dinner, is my worst time, so I really have to make sure I have enough to do during that time.
