Cool!!! My sister in law did it last year and did great! She's trying to get me to sign up but I don't think I'm going to this year. I really don't think I could have the endurance NOT to be dead last. It looks like so much fun though!!!!

kateleestar - I have one regret from last year - that I didn't get down-and dirty crawling thru the mud under barbed wire- it was tall enough that i could bend and not sink in the mud. This year, we're going IN the mud.

NaturalStupidit - the way they run it- in groups spaced about 30 minutes apart- means there never really is a dead last. It's you vs the fire and mud and obstacles and you get a medal and a beer when you finish regardless if you were first. The only way to lose is to chicken out at the start gate!

I'd be the one chickening out haha I'm really toying with the idea, I just haven't made up my mind yet.

Where are you at? And the race is in Logan, which is down by OU, in Athens. :)

Halfway between Toledo and Columbus. Do you know where findlay is? I'm an hour from there.

I am going to do one next year (I just missed it this year). I can't wait! Yay.

Oh, I don't know that I'll crawl through it.. I hope they have showers, lol.

And I'm glad there is no last. We got a 4:30 start time, and its in June, so I'm hoping it wont be blazing hot yet. I don't drink beer, so I'll give it to another, but.. still. I'm pumped!!

I hope to be down to like, 180 (AT LEAST!) by then. More normal looking, less big girl running through the mud, lol.

It's exciting. Were trying to train, but... We dont really know how. Did you do anything special?
