I have a coworker that will sometimes meet me at the gym. I like her as a person, but I hate her as a workout buddy. We end up doing a lot of talking about work, which is fine, but we don't really bump up the workout. Yesterday we walked for 2 milese and I barely broke a sweat. She doesn't have much weight to lose so maybe she isn't into more intense workouts? Often times we walk on the treadmill, sometimes we'll jump on the elliptical. Personally, I'm an arctrainer kind of girl.
I know I could ask her to do something more intense, but at that point I would just rather workout by myself and listen to my ipod. Anyone else feel like this? I'm not really sure how I approach her about this. Any thoughts?
