Vixen Valentine's Day challenge

We have 77 days until Valentines Day!

Use this thread however you need to keep your motivation going. Keep a daily food log, exercise log, weigh in, calorie counting... whatever. Anything goes. I would also encourage you to share your Valentines plans from the hair to the dessert! ;)



As for me... I am going to do the 30DS (all 3 levels) at least 5 days a week from now until Valentines. I think I will keep a daily weigh in so I am sure to check in every day.

My goal: to be about the size I was when I met my husband! I think I was about a size 10 and probably about 165 lbs. Right now I am a size 14 at 179 lbs. I WILL DO THIS!

Anybody with me?

Hi Kay! Love that name by the way. It's been my nickname since I was born. I'm going to join you here. For some reason, when I first started in October, I thought I would be at my goal by Valentine's Day. Wishful thinking on my part. haha. I think my goal for then is 115. Hopefully this thread will keep me motivated when school gets the better of me.

As for exercise, I'm going to stick to my four spin classes a week plus three weights classes, and some extra classes here and there.

Wohooo KatVee! Thanks for joining me. Don't feel discouraged if you aren't going to make your original goal. The smaller you are the harder it is to lose. You have made amazing progress so far!

I should mention that I run too. The 30 DS will be a new thing specifically for this challenge.

I'm so in! My goal is to workout 5x a week, drink my 8 glasses of water a day and my GW is going to be 155. That would be 14 lbs by Valentine's Day which I think is very doable! I'll keep up w/ my weight on here!

Welcome Nichols! So far we all have very similar goals. 12-15 lbs is very doable if we stick to it. :dancer:

I'm in! Shooting for 1 lb/week, so... 11 lbs! That would put me at 149, which is where I was 2 years ago. :dizzy: I'd like to get past that number this time! :D

Welcome JKswimming! I am also hoping to pass a weight I was at 2 years ago. Actually 2 years ago I had lost 30 lbs and was down to 170 before I started gaining again. So this time I hope to pass that and be at my lowest weight in 10 years.

i'm totally down for a v-day challenge, but i think i will wait a bit before hopping on this thread because it's rather depressing to be thinking about valentine's day when it's not even christmas yet... also, i was just recently dumped so it's not like i'm planning a fantastic evening out with my man :/

aaah, sorry to be depressing...

ideally though, i'd like to be at 160 by Valentines Day. that would be sweet :)

Valentines day goal:
8 plus glasses of water a day, 3 plus workout in a week and completely changing over my diet since I am finally on my own now as of the first of Dec! So with that I hope to lose a pound a week in total of 10 (starting next week) which will bring me down to 155 (which was where I was at the first time I had gained a bunch of weight back in college and lost it.)

:hug: men are poop, I keep being told a zillion of other guys are out there waiting to treat you like a princess, unfortunately I think most of them are taken these day... But don't worry mr. right now is out there some where and he'll come around when you are ready. :dizzy:

Kay: I'm always impressed with runners. I can't run to save my life. I was actually planning on getting Jillian Michael's 6 week Six-Pack to work on for Valentine's Day to add on to everything else. It comes out tomorrow.

Kawaii: I have no man for Valentine's Day. We can be each other's date! haha.

I just got done with my weights and spinning classes. Done for today. Now it's dinner time. :carrot:

MiZTaCCen, i hear ya! yeah, i know there are plenty of fish in the sea... it just sucked big time cuz i wasn't even actually dumped, more like "forgotten" by my workaholic bf and his phone died and he cant be bothered to get in touch with me any other way. well **** him. i'm just so sad though cuz i really liked him and he did treat me like a princess :( (when he wasn't so busy....) ANYWAYS.... yeah. :/

Katvee, if you fly to Japan and meet me i will happily take you to a fancy restaurant and buy you chocolate! lol.

that said though, Valentine's Day in Japan is weird... it's not a "lovers' holiday", it's a day where girls buy/make chocolate for the boys they like, and guys pretty much do nothing. it's not romantic at all...

I'll jump in on this! V-day is actually my birthday....so my hubby has to give me double gifts! LOL more than likely we will go to dinner or something.

GW: Don't know....

Plan: Zumba 6xweek, Crunch yoga pilates DVD 3xweek, and a daily 1.5 mile walk with me kiddo. As for food I'm going to start calorie counting!

GW for V-day would be 168...which is where I was before I got pregnant with my second son.

IDK if I'll ever actually make my ultimate goal of 150 because I was VERY comfortable at 168...hmm we shall see!!

Kawaii: I would totally do it if V-day wasn't in the middle of school. Stupid Cupid couldn't put his holiday in the summer. lol. Japanese Valentine's seems unfair. Who made those rules?
