I've definitely noticed a difference! I could never wear them before cause it hurt my feet soo much! Now it's not a big deal. I will say you should start slowly and build up a tolerance. Always carry a pair of flats with you until you are sure you can go the distance without pain. I learned that one the hard way :). Blisters on the balls of my feet...I ended up walking around the building barefoot and begged for a ride home. Lol And I ended up walking weird because it hurt...so I like waddled...not cute!
So yes, it will help but remember to build up your tolerance to it also. |
I haven't lost much weight yet, but my feet definitely hurt a lot more now in heels (or any shoes, for that matter) when I've been walking or standing around for awhile than they did when I was 40 lbs lighter. It only takes about an hour of me walking around before my feet start hurting. I used to be able to be on my feet all day without any complaints. That's definitely something I'm looking forward to being able to do again!

I've been wearing heels almost everyday since I was 17 years old and I am hoping losing weight will have the desired effect! Thanks for all of your input ladies!

yes excess weight can make heels hurt more. when i was around 195 i could wear heels with no problems. but when i got around 220 i had to stop wearing them and now im a flat shoes girls.
i miss wearing my heels :( |
I have extremely strong legs (and a flubby top) so perhaps I should start wearing heels. It'll give me length.

Before I gained too much weight with this last pregnancy, I wore heels 24/7! :( I miss all my beautiful heels :( I have tried to wear them and it’s not happening. My knees and ankles hurt at the end of the day...too much weight is still on my booty. I know I will start to wear them again once I lose about 10-15 more pounds. So yes, weight does matter when it comes to heels and being able to wear them comfortably!
