Just curious if anyone else is from Upstate NY?

I'm originally from the glorious state of Michigan! I was born and raised there, lived there until I was 20. Moved to North Carolina with my now husband, he finished his enlistment in the Air Force this year, we moved to Georgia in April, this September to Tennessee.

Raised from babyhood in the 'burbs of Albany, NY (UPSTATE, WOO) - specifically Niskayuna/Colonie area. Went to college in Poughkeepsie, NY which I consider downstate because it has a Metro North link. Now living and working in Japan. Kawaii_Candie and elleohelle live close to Tokyo but I'm in the far southwest in Fukuoka. 3-4 hours by train away from Sasebo as a reference point for Navy MPs and wives. |
