Happy New Year everyone!! I still have friends over right now, but I wanted to stop in and say hi! Hope NYE didn’t mess anyone up too badly. I weighed today and am up to 148.2 =/ ai yi yi aaaaannnd now we’re headed out for doughnuts. I’ve actually been doing a good job while they’ve been here. Sticking to low calories, but the drinking is messing me up. hi water weight.
I’m really looking forward to getting back on plan and being/feeling healthy! really, really! |
Seems like there are a lot of holiday fluctuations going around...kinda glad that Im not the only one but definitely look forward to *feeling* healthy like sasha12 already mentioned. When I feel healthy my self-image of myself is a lot better.
So plan for tomorrow: HEAD BACK TO THE GYM! Sidenote: Do you all see an increase in gym attendance in January? Wish these people could stick with it, because by February it usually thins out. |
Happy New Year ladies!! I just returned from my week away. I weighed the day after Christmas last and was still around the same point as before. I will weigh tomorrow and honestly post whatever it says - I know this past week I have probably averaged 1700 calories most days, I definitely had a few over 2000 days and too much alcohol. Here is hoping I didn't gain too much :/

Ive been seeing a bit of a fluctuation the past couple days but happy to say that today the scale read 156.6 (even after a fast food lunch yesterday) thank God! Now I can crack down and get back on the bandwagon.

Alright, I weighed. I'm happy to report that it was 67.8kg/149.5 pounds. No gain, basically maintained. I am so so so happy about that and ready to get back into logging calories 100 %. Just need to focus on getting my exercise back up to a good level as well!

Saw a girl today that I haven't seen since June and she didn't recognise me at first and then was all OMG! YOU'VE LOST SO MUCH WEIGHT! and it felt really awesome haha. First day back at classes, so I'm getting back in the groove of things, but I think today is going well so far. Packed up a nice little lunch box for mahself with a lunch and snacks, so I should be good until I get home.

today seemed like the longest day everrrr! I am super exhausted but I am forcing myself to leave for the gym in about 10 minutes. I really have to force myself back into the routine. I ate really well today minus a few pieces of chocolate fudge. Had room in the calories though so I should be okay!

Feeling much better after a good day of veggies, water, and activity! I went through my closet today and got rid of all the things that I don't feel good in. I found that 1) I'm embarrassed by how much clothing I own and 2) I can't believe how much I keep that doesn't really suit me. Too big, too small, some trend that never fit me but I tried... Crazy.
KenzideRhae - Thanks, much better! That's exciting about your run-in with your friend, it's great when hard work is noticed! Rainbowstripe - Well done on maintaining, holidays can be brutal! Lilly - There is a huge influx in Jan at my gym of both new comers and those who just haven't been for a while. It definitely dies off around mid-Feb. Shasta & LiannaKole - Sounds like we had the same holiday! Drink, drink, and drink some more... It was fun, but my body is glad it's over! |
I HATE that the gym is more crowded in Jan! :( I should probably be excited for those people but I really just find it annoying.
I'm glad I forced myself to workout, but it wasn't too much fun. All in all a good food/activity day. Hopefully some of this extra vacation weight starts to leave me soon! |

kenzi- its awesome that she recognized your hard work. i think i'm the only one that hates compliments, it almost makes me feel ashamed i was so overweight in the first place. i think i was in denial of how big i actually was.
lindsb- i can't stand all the new years resolutioners either, but the mornings aren't bad at my gym. good job everyone for jumping right back in even if you fell a little off after the holidays. on friday i reached an all time low of 139.6!! it was so exciting, but i've jumped back up to 142. so this week i'm putting the scale away and i won't get it out until feb. 1. my goals for january: stay on plan and no cheats work out atleast 6x a week run 1-2x a week do weights 2x a week- gotta work on these flabby arms swim laps 1x a week drink atleast 80oz of water a day don't weigh myself until feb. 1, hoping to be under 135 |

Hi all! I'm new to this thread- I would like to get out of the 150's and 140's. I'm hoping to lose about 8-10 lbs this month through eating better and exercising. I've never really tried to diet before, so hopefully I can do it. I love food so this may be hard... good luck to all of you!

LindsB - Ive been forcing myself as well all week because I definitely slacked over the holidays. The whole crowded gym wouldn't bother me so much if people stuck with it, but I when you *know* they wont be around in a couple of weeks its kinda annoying. shasha12- get better soon! I love homemade chicken noodle soup when Im sick skinnyby25 - you have set some great goals for yourself. I might have to borrow a couple :) Great job on the 130s Missjessica - I tend to hang on to clothes as well. I think I need to learn on how to donate them to goodwill or something. Im keeping my "fat" pants for when I get pregnant lol. Probably a dumb idea but thats what Im telling myself; although it wont be for another couple of years.
