hi everyone :) it was my bday over the weekend, and i was def off plan. nothing else fun and exciting coming up between now and xmas, so i have an entire month of being on-plan to look forward to. I’ll be back tomorrow with personals, and i promise to post more diligently from here on out!

I saw a big drop in the scale today. must’ve gotten rid of a lot of water weight yesterday. i’m hoping more still needs to come off and i’ll see a low on the scale. you know, maybe the bod is resetting after a few cheats and it’s going to decide it doesn’t need some of the *extra* it’s been holding for months and months bc cheats will happen? or something...? haha drinking lots of water and working w my trainer today.

down to 153.5 this morning-- slow progress but in the right direction! a morning filled with touch football and other lawn games should help mitigate any damage I do later this afternoon. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Wow I havent been on here in a few days!! Missed you ladies :))

This morning my scale read 158.6 (up 1.2 lbs from 157.4) which means that my thanksgiving goal didnt happen. I dont know if its because I am bloated from TOM coming up or what cause I hardly ate anything yesterday. But its all good =) Im just going to saddle up for my Christmas challenge :)

lilly, great attitude about your thanksgiving goal. on to the next!

i’m doing well with my eating for the most part. no thanksgiving yesterday bc hunny worked and we have no family here, and we had a “thanksgiving” dinner with friends sunday. but last night I didn’t space my cals out properly, and was only at 1060. needless to say i was starving just before bed, and i ate about 500 cals quickly (holiday ham and rolls). that was dumb and i’m going to keep a better eye on it today.

hope everyone had a great thanksgiving, and happy black friday to you all lol! I got a gift card for my bday, so after my training session later today i’m going to try to hit up the sales. hopefully i don’t get trampled! :hug:

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was great! Just got back from a trip - I'll have to get on reading the thread to catch up.

So, I let myself eat mostly freely for the last 3 days. It went fine. I ate junk, but not a whole lot over my calories. Up 2.8 lbs, mostly water weight ( some on purpose - I needed water retention to not be peeing every 2 hrs on my 12 hr car ride) and maybe a smidgen of real weight. I'll work it off.

A little stunned by reactions to my weight loss. Got a lot of comments and compliments. I'm getting WAY better at dealing with them. I said 'thanks' a lot and was vague.

I got things like:
--"God, you're skinny!" Thanks, but I'm not - still overweight (didn't say this, though - that'd sound weird, as it was just a compliment).
--"Wow, you look great!" Thanks!
--And like, "How did you do it?" Healthy eating and exercise.
--"You've lost, what? 180 lbs?" I really, really hope that wasn't a serious question. Did I look that bad before?
--"Are you going to lose more? You don't need to lose any more. You're not going to, are you?" Dodged this one - but yeah, like 30+ more, actually.

No one's EVER called me skinny before, not in my whole life. No one's ever asked me how I did it before. No one's ever told me I don't need to lose any more weight before. It was nice, but very strange.

LiannaKole: It is definitely weird having people tell you that you don't need to lose anymore weight! I get that from my mom all the time. "You're so thin now, you don't need to lose anymore. You're done losing weight, right? Why are you still trying to lose more?" It's more than just a little odd, especially since I'm still in the overweight range. But the compliments sure are nice, good to see you're dealing better with them!

I'm back up to 159, mostly because I think I consumed way too much sodium on Thanksgiving. I ate more than I usually do, overall, but I wasn't too stuffed, thankfully. But everything tasted so much saltier than I remember! I made this mushroom graving from a package that I usually love, and it was like a salt-lick, seriously. XD

I hope nobody got trampled on Black Friday! I definitely slept in and just stayed home haha.

I slept in on Black Friday as well and then had a lazy day at home with my husband after a morning workout at the gym. It was a fabulous day! Black Friday is just way too crazy for me

KenzideRhae: Glad you had a good Thanksgiving! And yeah, things were saltier than I remembered, too. I got an invitation to start shopping at 2AM on Black Friday. I did what you did, basically - I slept. In a car on my way home.

I just remembered I also got another weird comment. Someone said, "How'd you lose the weight? Just stop eating?" They were joking (I think), but I thought it was odd to say. I just said nope, I eat a lot, just healthier stuff.

Hey ladies!

New low for me this morning, SUPER close to my half way point, only 200gms off! 70.2kg which is 154.7 pounds. I feel pretty good about that.
I don't feel good about the other stuff I'm going through at the moment - had a cervical biopsy on Wed and am now waiting for results (and bleeding). Almost like having 2 periods this month, dumb. I'm pretty stressed about it, but I can't do much.
Need to get my exercise back on track this week!

Rainbowstripe - congrats on 154.7!!! Wow that seems like a dream number for me. You are working so hard and its really paying off. If you dont mind I will keep you in my prayers that your biopsy comes back all good!!!

LiLLy I'm not religious, but I don't mind at all, I really appreciate any support so thank you. I am a little bit freaked out about the whole thing - at the moment I'm trying to be blissfully ignorant but it's not working out! Thanks for the congrats, I'm surprised myself that I made it!
