I'm on day 7. I've done the level 1 video 5 times and taken 2 days off but still worked out. My arms were so sore from push ups! Anyway, should I only be counting the days that I do the videos? I think I can do it daily from now on but getting into it was just a little slow. I can do the whole thing and keep up pretty well at this point. Somewhere around butt kicks I have to catch my breath for a sec. I didn't have any hand weights so I'm using an 8lb medicine ball. I'm going to go get some 5lb hand weights next week as that seems like a good progression. I'm using the fit tv video so i'm just hoping they put level 2 on soon. Anyone know if any stores sell them? I'm really excited about this. I've wanted to do p90x for a while but I was afraid to jump in unready so I'm using this t get myself ready for the challenge.

I only count the days I work out but I've only had 3 rest days since I started on 10/1. I started Level 2 after 7 days because, Level 1 just wasn't kicking my butt anymore. I may stay on Level 2 a little longer since I switched over early and it still gives me a great work out. I'm on day 7 now, and I still can't make it through without taking an occasional breather.
I use 5 lb hand weights and they work fine. I still have difficulty with circuit 3 strength though. I will not move to level 3 until I can make it through the entire level without stopping.
You can get the entire 30 day shred in Wal Mart for around 10 bucks I believe.

Just got my DVD in the mail today and started Level 1. Totally kicked my butt, I love it! Had to do some of the modified movements with Anita, and felt a little nauseous right after, but I think after a few more times through I'll be fine.

Yeah I don't think I'm going to get good enough to keep up with Natalie she is extremely good at what she does! I stay with Anita throughout most of it. I seemed to always have a problem in Level 1 with the Circuit 3 Abs for some reason. It was so hard for me to get through that. I'm on L2 D5 now..and it's starting to get easier...a good workout but easier! LOL. 5 more days left until L3 that's really going to kick my butt!

L1D2. Just started TOM so the babybox wasn't very happy with me, but I pushed on through anyway! Ngl, I have to put the weights down part way through some of the exercises, mostly the side lunges, and I really suck at push ups, but I'm hoping I'll get better as I continue.

Oh, I want to start 30DS so bad! I ordered the dvd months ago, but I stopped at Day 1 because the downstairs neighbors where complaining. My apartment is on the ground floor now, so that won't be a problem anymore. However, I'm doing the C25K and I've had problems with my knees. Is there a chance that the 30DS will make it worse and I won't be able to complete either?

Marniadec: If you do all the workouts as instructed, I don't think it'll make your knee problems worse. I haven't had any problems yet anyway. I've had problems with me knees before as well, due to walking like 5 miles a day, but my knees are pretty fine with the 30DS so far.

L1D3. Muted the DVD because Saved! is on TV and I didn't want to turn it off lol. Didn't feel any nausea after like I did the last two days, so yay!

That's great Kenzi!

I'm still on level 2 day 12. I told myself I'm not moving to level 3 until I can make it through level 2 without stopping. I still struggle with circuit 3 strength. I will move on to level 3 this week. I am nervous about it though. I am absolutely drenched with sweat when I finish level 2. My weight is not going down, but my body is really changing, I have really slimmed down and it is especially noticeable in pics I took over the weekend. It's just really frustrating to not see that reflect on the scale!

I have always struggled once I got to the mid 150's. I am determined to bust through this time, and I think Jillian is just the girl to help me do that

The problem on my knees wasn't caused by the running, I've had it for years. They hurt constantly and all I can do is not ~aggravate~ them. That's why I'm worried. I have 2 weeks left in C25K, so I think I'll complete it and then start.

purple- you can totally do it without the weights. I will not be a waste. Granted you will get a better workout using the weights, but without is a great way to get started! You could start without, add soup cans in once you get more comfortable, then eventually add 5lb hand weights.

I have never done the DVD and counted my progress for 30 days. I am going to start incorportating it into the workout routine I already do so by no means will I get it in every day, but atleast a few times per week. So far I am on L1D3. I did it this morning and I was super tired which made it MUCH more difficult! Here's to hoping I feel stronger the next go-around!

It truly is a great workout for toning and when you are crunched for time. For more motivation google "30 day shred before and after". There are several photos of people who toned up and lost inches from doing the DVD! one step at time!

I am on Day 6 of Level 2. It really wears me out! But I love the push and I have lost some weight doing this video and its deff. toned up my legs if anything. My stomach will probably take years of workouts to ever look half-decent (puke!)
