I have pretty big breasts (42-F). They have been the only things that save me from looking too big. They sort of increase when I get bigger, so they are always bigger than my stomach.
I read somewhere, that many people lost most of their breasts.
I am wondering when this starts happening and what the result is like.
Is it a good thing for them to slim down? They seem to be the first place where I lose weight...
For me, mine were the last to go. I went from an F and I"m still a DD. I was a 42F as well, and am now a 34 DD. So it just depends. They don't look like DD's but I guess I hide them well. Plus, mine just kinda "deflated"
Mine really haven't shrunk too much- I'm still wearing a 38D but I had been up to a 40D, they are slightly saggy now BUT I'd rather have sagging than be as big as I was ever again.
Not well at all. They are still “big”…but not exactly the good kind of big. I started out as a DDD and I’m now a DD, but they are the opposite of perky and I have some loose, wrinkly skin. I quite hate my boobs now and I’m not ruling out some plastic/corrective surgery in the future. I lost all of my volume and bounce and perkiness and now they are just gross….hopefully this won’t be the case for you though!
So, my breasts were never super-perky, I think due to weight gain rather than loss. They seem pretty much the same so far, but I'm young and my weight didn't really balloon until the last 2 years, so skin stretching might be minimal. My cup size seems intact, but my band and strap sizes are a lot different. I should probably get new bras, in fact....
Mine seem to be making the transition from 36DD to 34DD to (now) 34D, and I'm just beginning to have the loose/wrinkly deal. It's a motivation problem, frankly; I'm afraid to lose *too* much more weight because I don't want them to deflate. As they are now, I can live with them.
THIS is the kind of cost-vs.-benefit analysis I never wanted to have to do. I'm not *completely* happy with my stomach, butt, or thighs, yet, and honestly I've always wanted smaller boobs--but not ones that are saggy and deflated, and I can tell that's where I'm headed... so they're definitely one factor as I engage in continually re-evaluating my maintenance weight.
I suppose this was going to happen when I had kids, regardless? I just don't feel quite ready.
Ditto on the droopiness....36 DDD or E depending on the bra down to 36/34 C then back up to 36DDD again.
But there is some hope, apparently push ups and other chest exercises help because they build up the muscles around the breasts, giving them a sort of "lift".....this is what I'm counting on.
Also if you are interested in the cosmetic route (I'm a bit scared to consider this yet) but some of the older women at work were talking about this issue and the consensus was don't go for the lift (painful and more expensive) go for a larger implant and you can get the same effect.....not advocating surgery in any way but it was a really great and informative conversation so I thought I'd share for anyone who is interested.
I might be the only one that is happy her breasts are shrinking!!! I cannot wait to be a 34 A again!!!! I am currently a 36B, but I don't have the long or wrinkley issue that over people do.
I lose mine in chunks. It is like a wake up one morning, I lost 1/2 a cup overnight.
This is the only thing that scares me about losing weight! I'm a 40C, which is right where I want to be, but I don't know how much of it is actually breast tissue or just fat. In high school I was a 38B and I was around 170 lbs then (I'm 213 now); I don't know how much of that was breast tissue either since I was still overweight, but that might give me an idea of my size when I'm closer to my goal. I honestly don't want to get any smaller than that. I'm hoping that I'll at least be a B by the time all of this is over and that some of the gain in my breasts is due to breast tissue growth and not just fat. I guess we'll see!
