Frusteration has seriously hit me!

So I feel that when I was hardly working out I lost the most weight being 20 pounds. I am not stuck at 165 (and yes I am 165 in my skinner pictures I checked on a different scale.) I work out 4 to 5 times a week Sometimes 1.5 hours, or 30 minutes depending on how much time I can get it. I do Jillian's 30 days shread with two levels and then throw on a bootcamp (biggest loser) I can tell I'm shrinking but I'm not loosing any weight. I went from being size 14 to now size 11, but I'm getting frusterated and discourage because I feel I'm working my *** off for nothing. I also try and keep my Calories 1200 or less.

Any Advice?

 sorry you're so frustrated! this journey can be a b**** sometimes huh?! i don't really understand, you're losing sizes but you aren't losing pounds? or when you started at 180 you were size 14 and you're now size 11, after losing 20 lbs?

the one thing I can say is that given your weight and the amount of working out you do, 1200 calories is the bear minimum of calories you should eat! you mentioned eating 1200 "or less" and i think less is ill-advised. I would try cycling calories... You have to create a 3600 calorie deficit to lose a pound, so you eat your 1200 calories to create a calorie deficit each day, right? your body is smart enough to adjust to that! instead, if you cycle calories, your body is getting a different calorie amount each day, never really knowing what's coming at it, but still always getting a deficit. for instance: eat 1200 calories monday, 1600 tuesday, 1200 weds, 1300 thurs, 1400 fri, 1200 sat, 1500 sunday. that averages out to a little more than 1300 calories a day. Still get your deficit, and leaves your body guessing.

hope this helps!

if you can tell you are getting smaller I don't think you are working your *** off for nothing. You are doing a good job and your body thanks you for it! I know those plateaus can be beyond frustrating but remember that it's not all about the number on the scale. It will change, you will break through your plateau! My advice would be to mix it up. Change something, your diet, your workout, anything. Like Shasha says, keep your body guessing. Good luck and don't be discouraged, you are doing such a great job!

It's not about the number, but those decrease in sizes are an amazing accomplishment! Just keep it up, and perhaps raise your calorie intake by a couple hundred calories. At 1200 it might not be enough energy for the amount of work outs you do, so your body could be holding onto the energy you want to burn.

Its not "for nothing" if you're steadily loosing inches. With that much exercise, you're also building up your fitness level and becoming a healthier person...that counts for a lot more than seeing a scale number go down.

I think you're not eating enough calories. You're pretty active so your body just needs more calories to function.

1) Do you listen to Jillian Michael’s radio show program? If not, go to mediafly, locate them, download them, and listen to them (try searching for KFI AM 640 Sunday). She talks a lot about this a lot!
2) Have you tried taking a break from exercise for one week?
3) Have you tried temporarily increasing your calories? What was mentioned about calorie cycling is good!
4) Have you tried completely different workouts? I love JM’s workouts too, but try something completely different that you don’t normally do.
5) How clean is your diet? Keep a daily food journal for the next 2 weeks and evaluate.
6) Do you take rest days?
7) Have you tried seeing a personal trainer to get a program done up?
8) Have you tried intermittent fasting (you eat every day, you are not starving yourself. Message me and I'll email you info. Its safe and healthy)

The thing is, your body might think its healthy, so it does not want to let go of anything.
