miriko 09-27-2010 06:35 PM

Hi Girls, I just weighted in at 198.75.... So I am joining this thread:) So much more work to do, but this is super encouraging!!!

Krizstyling 10-04-2010 09:09 AM

Hello Ladies! I FINALLY (took 7 freaking weeks) weighed in at 198 today! I only weigh myself once a week so I'm pretty sure I hit onederland earlier last week but I'm just happy to be here!

Here's to a full week of eating right and exercising regularly to make it to the 180's!

Luddy 10-04-2010 03:05 PM

Congrats miriko & Krizstyling! Welcome!

I weighed at 190.2 today! SO close.

This is about the weight I last remember weighing at in high school before I took a hiatus from the scale. That's exciting.

Krizstyling 10-04-2010 03:33 PM

Luddy - That is SUPER exciting! You're oh SO close!

Congrats Luddy, just a little farther to go until the next thread! :carrot:

I have protein powder when I wake up, go to the gym have my first meal at 12pm and second meal between 7-8:30pm. Sometimes I have an afternoon snack and sometimes I do not.

The research I've read proves that it is benefical to have a 12-18 hour period in a day when you are not eating (mine is from about 8pm at night until 12pm the next day - intermittent fasting). I have done my research and THIS WORKS FOR ME. It may not work for you.

In the end it is about the quality of your foods and your caloric intake, whether you look at them on a daily basis or a weekly average.

Also, have you tried green smoothies? I recommend smoothies you make yourself (I get 4 servings of fruits and veggies in my smoothies) and through it in a thermos so I can take it with me without worrying about it going bad.

There are solutions. Try different things and think outside the box and you will find something that works for you.

Risssa! that works for me too. I dont eat after 8 and Im horrible with breakfast so by the time I do eat its about noon. then I eat around 6 or 7 when I get home. Then do wii fit..sometimes i workout in the afternoon. on sats my husband and i walk 3=5 miles...this has been my routine for the last 2 weeks as far as adding the workout and ive come down 7 lbs...

Activia smoothies are good also...

im about to go out of town so i hope i stay on track...

He Risssa - can you show me what study you are referring to about the 1 meal or 6? All the research I've found has said your body begins to store fat if you don't eat every 3-4 hours...I write a blog and would just like to see this study so that I can post it up with a comparison of another study.

Thanks in advance.

I am back in the 190s at 190.2. Not too sad about it, but I attend to make it a temporary thing.

One day at a time, one lb at a time.

miriko 10-06-2010 12:30 PM

Hi Girls,

I have been super busy with school, but I weighted in at 195 this Monday!!! Its pretty exciting. Rissa, you will be out of here again in no time:)

gretel 10-06-2010 03:35 PM

I posted on the old thread, and yet I'm still here in the 190's! 196 today to be exact. If I keep up what I'm doing and don't cheat, I should be out of the 190s in a couple of weeks. Here's to 4 weeks with staying on plan!

Luddy 10-06-2010 05:09 PM

Wasn't even planning on weighing in today but as I get closer to each new decade, I tend to weigh everyday and today it said I wooshed into the 180's at 188.6! I'm not quite sure I believe it but so I'll wait to see if it sticks for a few days but if it does, I just wanted to say farewell for now and I know I'll see all of you in the 180's!

Saphellae 10-07-2010 05:32 PM

I think I have officially entered the 190's range, I took a week off exercise due to craziness and I fell in a parking lot like a BOARD on my FACE and hurt my elbow, ankle, and neck ! Oh my god ! Darn shoes.. heels in a wet parking lot !!! I fell so flat and easily that my fiance thought I had passed out lol.

So I didn't weigh myself for a week and a half and was kinda watching what I ate but still enjoying it, and I still lost a couple of lbs ! Yay ! So close to officially 10lbs lost. As I suspected I really don't feel any different, but in another 10 I might a little.
