Amyleigh, I am right there with you... not only do I love to eat, I love all foods!!! I am a foodie of sorts and love to try new things!!! My recent 40th birthday and subsequent weight gain coupled with some increased fatigue and aching joints left me searching for answers from the medical professionals... was I hypothyroid? lymes disease? what the heck is going on with my previously fit body??? An honest look at my habits was the thing I needed to clue me in to that extra 20 # that crept on. I gave up on exercise, gave into my love of food , and allowed emotional eating to take the place of exercise for stress relief. I ate whatever I wanted, baked and cooked with heavy cream, butter, and all the good stuff that made my cooking and baking taste heavenly!!! Recently re married and happy, my hubby and I love to have a get away for happy hour or at the local coffee shop for a muffin and some coffee... or the topper of them all, a chocolate shop in town that has Friday night chocolate buffet!!!! good lord!!! mystery solved!!!
The weight gain/inactivity led to the fatigue and joint pain not the other way around!!! And now I have to battle past that stuff, walk/exercise when things are bothering me, learn light cooking techniques, and find other things to do with my husband that do not involve eating! Thank goodness spring and summer are on the way, with plenty of outdoor activities!!!
take care and good luck on your journey!!!!
