Default Positive ideas? I'm looking to compile a large list to pick from!

While I was chatting with a guy who is studying to become a personal trainer (I know him from a gaming guild forum - part of my secret online life, but I blame my husband for pressuring me into online games with him!) he was telling me not to focus on just losing weight, but to add something healthy and positive to my life every week. He suggested "instead of just thinking this week 'I need to lose 20 lbs' think instead 'while I'm losing 20 lbs I'm going to add a green leafy vegetable to my diet every day' as a part of your goal planning."

I don't do fresh vegetables well, so I took what he said and applied it to my life by buying a 28 pack of V8 from Costco, and I've incorporated drinking 1-2 a day throughout my day as a way of adding more vegetables to my diet.

I've joined the Jingle/Jiggle Christmas challenge which is focusing on losing a certain amount of weight by Christmas, but I'd like to add some more positive things in as goals throught the next 18-20 weeks til Christmas. By adding 1 positive thing a week I think I could make some of the good positive habits stick. But I need ideas?

SO, does anyone here have more positive ideas I could incorporate into my life every week from now til Christmas???

I wanted to add that I used to be in an online aliance :3 I was one of the leaders. I like to think we're all secretly geeks!

As for ideas, set goals for yourself on how often you'll work out, or maybe try a something new when it comes to exercise once a week Variety is the spice of life. I got a book of 101 different exercises with weights and I like to try something new once in awhile. It keeps things fresh and I learn new things.

Thats awesome. Which game? ^_^ haha!

Wow justwant2bhealthy! Thats a GREAT list!

To clarify: I actually love fresh veggies, my problem is my life is so hectic I forget they're there, and then they rot and then I get annoyed with myself. I do "okay" with frozen veggies because if I forget about them they don't grow extra living creatures for me to have to deal with in my house >.<

I've been thinking I might do a "nut" goal next week, because I don't eat nuts commonly and I heard they're absolutely fantastic for your health.

Travian, it took over my life for months. The server I was playing ended around last Christmas and it was nice to break away. The servers usually last about 300 days or so. I've also played many other online games for fun. I try to stay away though because I get attatched easily haha.

And I love fresh veggies too, but I often forget or don't make them in time before they go bad as well. I rely on frozen ones a lot. Especially since my fiance thinks he's too good for those canned green beans I love.
