I'm in. I go back to school on August 23rd. Right now I weigh 137.6, and I'd love to lose another 5 lbs by then, putting me at 132-133.
My plan is to stick with what I'm doing. I'm currently on Weight Watchers. I do yoga once a week and have started working through the C25k program 3-4x a week. I'd also really like to try getting more sleep and hydrating better.
Alright, so Day 2 - I've packed food for the plane (currently travelling) and I just have to make sure that I get my work out in when I arrive at the hotel, and I'm golden.
I downloaded the LoseIt app for my phone so I can track calories where-ever (still using fit day but now no excuses) - and it says to lose 1.5 lbs a week, I can have 1400 calories a day. So I'm going to stick between 1200 and 1400. Today's probably going to be a 1400 day because I want to try this macaroni and cheese my co-worker raves about from a cheese shop in Seattle, and I'm going to try and keep Thursday/Friday at 1200.
Anyway, one day at a time How are the rest of you ladies doing?
I mostly just lurk on 3FC, but lately I really need some accountability so I'm definitely in for this one! I'd love to be 150 but by the time school starts, but I think that's a little overambitious, especially since I start back a little earlier than some of you -- August 24th. So I'm thinking I'll aim for somewhere in the 150-155 range. I've been doing excellently with my workouts lately but wishy-washy with my eating -- one good day, two bad days, etc ad infinitum. Hopefully having a time-sensitive goal will help me keep focused!
I'm in. I'm going back for my masters this Fall and would love to lose about 10 lbs by September 1.
SW: 178.4 GW: 168
I plan on eating between 1600-1700 calories per day. I will wear my GoWear Fit everyday to monitor calories burned (my job is my exercise 5 days a week, I'm a zookeeper) and I also want to start back up with Jillian's 30 Day Shred. Another reason for doing this is that I am going on vacation at the end of September and would love to be in the lower 160s by then!
I'm going to count today as on plan. I brought my breakfast/lunch with me to Seattle, worked out for an hour as soon as I got to the hotel, and then spent the rest of the afternoon (from about 3 to 8) walking around the city. I had a turkey/cheese pannini from this cheese shop (they make the cheese there) and also split a small mac and cheese with my co-worker (he ate most of it) and then we stopped on our way back to the hotel and got appetizers. I had an artichoke heart over a salad with a little goat cheese, and he had some lamb and hummus. We split both, but they were tiny portions.
I also stopped and got fruit from the market - in my fridge I now have raspberries and Ranier cherries, as well as some hummus and carrots to munch on while I'm at work tomorrow and Friday.
Yeah, I probably went over 1400 calories, but with the hour work out and 5 hours of walking (and sweating) I feel like I didn't do any damage.
Its 8pm here right now, but I'm ready to pass out - I've been up since 445 EST (and its 11:15 EST now) so I am BEAT. Since I'm going to bed so early, this means it won't be hard for me to get up at 5 and get a work out in. Yay
I'd like to lose 20 pounds by the time school starts up again (August 23).
Start: 287
By the time school starts: 267
I've been getting an hour work out in every day, and counting calories. I don't have a strict guideline to stick to in terms of calories, but I've just made myself aware of it. So far so good!

I'm right there with ya'. few...I went alittle over on mine today though.
I'm in!! I've got about six weeks left of summer, so if I could lose two pounds a week, that would give me 12...and I'd be down 35 pounds since I started a few weeks after school ended, which would be awesome. I'm exactly 300 right now (grrr!) so I suppose my goal is to be anywhere in the 280s or below.
I've been watching my calories, trying to keep them around 1800 or less a day, so I'll probably continue with that as well as weeding out more of the food I still eat that's packed with carbs/sugar.
I definitely want (and need) to exercise more; I am still very out of shape. D: Right now, I'm going to start by going to the gym three times a week, and I'm also thinking about buying that Jillian Michaels DVD that everyone talks about, haha.
I am IN! I want to be 169. Under 170. That's 8 pounds. I know it doesn't sound like too much but I'm hitting some major plateaus. So I am going to do it!
So far today is going well! I had a soy latte for breakfast, and a veggie burger, baby carrots with humus, and a banana for lunch. Later today I am going to do 30DS, and probably have some homemade black bean chili for dinner. Yay!
I'd like to do this. Start Uni at the end of September so would like to lose quite a bit by then. At about 190 now. Would like to lose around 2lb a week and have around 12/13 weeks. Therefore think I could lose around 24lb hopefully! That would be amazing, and would get me to 166lb.
Want to get fitter - by walking, cycling, swimming.
Want to eat a lot healthier and learn to cook healthier meals. Much less chocolate!
I did pretty good today. I went 100 calories over on food, but as of right now I've burned 2200 calories, so I should end up having burned 2550 for the day which is 100 over my target so it balances out. My goal is to lose at least 1.5 lbs per week so I need an average daily calorie deficit of 750.
I'd like to do this too, even though I'm not yet in my 20s. I want to be thinner and healthy for the remainder of high school. I'm doing WW and today, my 1st day, went great. So far so good!

Me also, one last year of high school, and I want the same. Congrats on doing good your first day! Keep it up and keep moving forward!
