Share your workout sneakers!!!!!
Hello ladies!!
I am just interested in knowing what everybody wears on their feet when you workout and how do you feel about them. I am working out in NIKE air max and I think im going to be needing new sneakers soon, thanks |
I wear Saucony progrid hurricane 11's. These were my first 'professionally' fit shoes (based on doctor and salesman recommendations). At first they hurt the outside edge of my foot A LOT but I just had to get used to the different support. Other than that I have no complaints. I thought they were going to be too stiff of a support but in the long run it has really helped!! Now I am just about due for a new pair.

I wear ASICS and I absolutely love them, they are super comfy!
I also got a different insole to put in them which gives more support. |
I switched to Asics after years with Brooks and I hate them! They are wildly popular and a well made shoe, they just hate my feet.
I do think the best thing you can do is get properly fitted at a running store. That way, you know what kind of shoes you should get and why. I will never leave Brooks again! |
I use Adidas Trail Response. Its a cross trainer and its pretty good.

I have these:
http://www.zappos.com/nike-air-max-m...cool-grey-dark I've had them .... for about 3 runs and 5 walks. They have good support. I really can't give a full review because they are so new. :) GL! |
I have a pair of New Balance cross-trainers. They support my feet fine, which is good since I have ankle issues.
|
I used to only wear Adidas or New Balance. I went to a local running outfitters here and had a guy analyze how I walk. He brought out a pair of Saucony and Asics. I went with the Asics and LOVE them.
Now, they cost $100 but they are seriously the best tennis shoe I've ever owned. My suggestion would be to go get analyzed, try on some shoes that you like (mine are actually a little bigger than I would've bought for myself) and see if you can find a pair for cheaper online. |
I wear Nike Air Citius II + I think thats the whole name. I like them and I have no issues with support or anything. I also like that they are nike+ enabled for my running.
|
As others have said, it's best to get fitted at a running store if you can. I wear Saucony Progrid Guide 3. They're super comfy and don't feel too heavy when I run. I love them!

I know these aren't really sneakers, but still...
I plan on getting a pair of Vibram Five Finger shoes for my outdoor hiking/trail walking, ect. http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/pro...s_Sprint_f.cfm Right now for the treadmill, I use go barefoot. |
