Need Help! Cardiac Monitors.....

I need advice on heart rate monitors. My husband now has to wear one whenever working out, preferrably one that wraps around his chest. Any thoughts? What is the best brand? Most versatile? Most reliable? Best for your money? All thoughts, comments, etc are grealtly appreciated. TIA!

I've heard the Polar Heart Rate monitors are really good. In fact, I made a thread about it today.

hope that helps!

I posted on Feral's thread, but I'll share here too! I have a Polar FT80 that I absolutely love. I like knowing how many calories I'm burning, the heartrate "zone" I'm working in, etc. What's great about the FT80 is that you customize it to your own body: height, weight, sex, activity level, and it gives you the amount of calories to burn per week as well as the amount of time you should work out. The best part is that you can upload your workouts onto your computer and download new workouts to the monitor so you can use your monitor as a checklist. I won't work out without it!
