Ok, So didnt get to do 30DS last night... Why you ask?!

BECAUSE MY DOG ATE MY REMOTE!!!

I really wish I was kidding here. lol. I love my pets so much, but I live with 3 pitbull mixes and my biggest one (Beau) apparently decided that last night would be a good time to be a jerk! I have proof... see image below.

So yeah... awesome. No remote=no use of dvd player.

Luckly, tomorrow is my bday. So my sister said she would get me a new remote as a gift. lol... So, hopefully i will be back on track tomorrow. lol

Oh, and by the way... My real name is Maeghan.

ravensglen3- Great plan! can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

Meaghan- Bad dog! Ugh I would be so mad. I used to have a couple destructive dogs but now I just have a couple cats. Well I am glad you will be getting a replacement soon!!

Maybe they were trying to tell you to stop jumping around in front of the TV and play with me! lol

How is everyone doing? I failed miserably this weekend. Yesterday I got home from work and took my time getting ready to work out. Then our plans changed and I no longer had time to work out. Then our internet went out and I am amazed at how low my motivation was without being able to pop into 3FC for encouragement! So sad. Anyway, our internet is back. My motivation is back. Now I just need to figure out how to make time for my workouts on days where time is not on my side. :/

I suck, because I didnt have time for my shred on Saturday. I got up at 6 and got ready, and then had to take 2 cars to get oil changes, and then I had THREE graduation parties and a going away party to go too. By the time we got home, we were literally falling asleep on the couch. It was one of those days. However, I did stay under my calories, so I can't complain tooooooo much!

I know, I know. Sad. But I did get up early on Sunday and do it. I've only missed that one day since I started, and I plan to do 2 shreds in one day here coming up so I can still have the 30/30 going for me. Heh.

And I have EXACTLY 39 days till my vacation. YEY!! I think I'm gonna move to level 2 tonight, because I don't think level 1 is enough of a challenge for me anymore. Wish me luck!

Katie, I was also thinking of doing the shred twice in one day to kind of make up for the missed day. I will probably still do that.

OK that wedding I am going to is just over one month away!! AHHHH! I still have to go dress shopping. I am dreading that. :/

Strangely enough, I seem to always end up getting dresses from eBay or Target when I go to weddings. I heart Target.

And I'm gonna TRY to do the 2 shreds tonight. I might as well, we have left overs for dinner so I don't have to make anything, so I'll have the time.. And then after dinner we can do the walk thing.

I'm wishing us luck!!

And are you gonna do it every day till the wedding? I have the 39 days till vacation and I'm doing it 39 times (plus 1 make up)!!

My plan was to do at least the 30 days. I leave for the wedding in 30 days exactly so I will do it at least until then. I don't know if I will be bored at that point or not. If not I will keep going with 30DS but if I am bored I may try out the px90 stuff.

I have no idea where I am going to go shopping. I am broke so I was thinking about Target, Old Navy or Kohl's or something. I just need to find one that looks like it came from somewhere else! lol

Hey ladies! So when this thread started I posted that I would get 30DS and did, took me a few days to muster up the courage to do it. Today was D1.

I had such a hard time with it!!!! Seriously I could not keep going with the cardio or get into all the positions. I'm seeking support here.... I know Jillian says people twice my size do this, but I really struggled. I'm considering calling today just a practice. (side note, when I could not do another jumping jack I did keep moving by dancing around, but there was almost no hope of me doing butt kicks, i tried) Am i perhaps tooo out of shape to be doing this.

I cried on my way to work. I'm so ashamed of how out of shape I am. Did any one els struggle like this??

The first week I did it when I first got the DVD before I got married.... WAS ****. Literally. I couldn't go up steps, it hurt to sit or stand. It was awful.

But now that I'm doing it again, and with all I've done in the mean time - C25K, some P90X, my nightly walks - It's alllll helping. And its making it easier! My advice is to stick with it. It WILL get better!

Also:

Did a L1 and a L2 today, and boy are my arms tired!

Having fun ladies?

I'm up for another month of Shredding. I'm going do this at least 3x a year until I can do the advanced moves throughout the whole thing.

Can I join this party? Haha... I'm on day 5... level 1. My quads hurt like a b! But Jillian's helped me find the collarbone I lost oh so many years ago!

30 DS has seemed to have stalled my weight loss though. Like, walking/running at the gym I was dropping weight like crazy...but now I'm stuck? I've read that happens to a lot of people. Anyone experience that? How long does it take for your body to get used to 30 DS and start dropping weight again?

I've never cursed directly at her... love her too much lol....but I have dropped the F-bomb a few times - just out of frustration. I also like to make sarcastic comments directly to her... like when she says "I bet if you're on day 5, 6, 7 it's getting easier" I'm like "Yeaaah....right." Haha.

@JMFan You're freaking me out. We're the same age, height and have -almost- the same weight goal. And you worship Jillian... LET'S BE FRIENDS! lol

My body dropped it's usually 2lbs a week. nothing significant. I'm sure if I were anywhere near my goal weight, I would been shredded by the end. More about muscle, I think.
